Summary:
From executive producers Paul Attanasio, Katie Jacobs, David Shore, and Bryan Singer comes a new take on mystery, where the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients.
Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is devoid of bedside manner and wouldn't even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor. While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a maverick physician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts have afforded him a great deal of respect. An infectious disease specialist, he's a brilliant diagnostician who loves the challenges of the medical puzzles he must solve in order to save lives.

Its current. I watch it every now and then, and I do enjoy it. Dr House's cynical and sarcastic comments are quite fun.

Sorry for upping a really old thread but season 3 of House has just started in the US. Looking forward to this after the way that the second season ended on a bit of a cliffhanger.

I really don't want to spoil it for you so I'll just give you the synopsis for that episode:
As House and his team are working on the diagnosis of a man with a giant, swollen tongue, the husband of a former patient walks into House's office and shoots him. House continues to treat his patient from his ICU hospital bed with the shooter, who has been shot by hospital security and hand-cuffed to his bed, as his roommate. When the after-effects of the shooting begin to impact House, he starts to question his own ability to diagnose properly. As his patient's body deteriorates, House struggles through his self-doubt and must trust his team to find a way to solve the case.
If I say anymore than that then it will ruin your enjoyment of the episode so for that reason I'm not going to add to it and just say that you should wait until you get to the episode and see for yourself.

Oh and obviously you should wait until you've seen that episode before moving on to season 3 because otherwise it kind of defeats the whole point of the ending.

:))
My Khala has some on and off illness that hasnt yet been diagnosed so she claims that half of the patients we see in house are suffering from something that she has been diagnosed with at one point or the other.
I did see the final episode of the last season and it was very different from the usual House episodes

It's no Arrested Development but it is indeed one of the bestest shows in recent years.

:))) Kia variety ha!
You go from a show about this incredibly intelligent doctor working on these mysterious illnesses to a show mostly watched by kids under the age of 10.

I enjoyed the few episodes of the first season.
Watched more of the second and was a little tired of it by the end.
