Hes been poor in both games and scored just 0 & 5. Lara is a world class batsmen thats not to be doubted. however, his recent odi form has been poor and 2ndly lara has opted out of quite a few of west indies odi series as he wants to prelong his test career. since scoring a blistering 156 v pakistan @ adelaide..
his scores have read 19,8,0,32,22,12,0,5 (last two inns for ROW.)

so should lara be chopped for final game?

Pietersen cos of injury worries, but if he wasn't then i'd get rid of the prat Jaques Kallis.

Just replace the World XI with the current England XI and watch Australia run for cover ....

Aus x1 i recon would be an england x1 in odis..! they proved that in natwest series. Aussies are still a force in odi game even thou test crown has slipped a little.

Yaar Amjid hes had 3 bad games. It happens, even to the best. Dropping him will not solve anything it will just create further problems. When a player goes through a bad patch he needs words of support from everyone not calling for him to be dropped.

Raz, this is totally different from playing for your team. If someone doesnt perform for their team, they can afford to be patient. Dravid and Kallis are excellent players for their teams as well. But if there were replacments for them, should they give them another chance

How will it create more problems. Theres only one more game after the one tommorow and these guys wont have to play again

I don't think Lara is properly "tuned in" for these games. He probably won't mind sitting out a game - it will just give him time to play golf which I am sure he will appreciate.

And watch for big scores from him in the W.Indies vs Aus test series

Yeah good point usman. DROP SHOAIB. He has been awful in the bowling. Flintoff too but he has been decent with the bat. Get Makhaya in.

I think he shudd play to get his form back for the test matches..
We need him in test to go one down becuz laran ad Inzi will have to be in a big partnership if they wanna beat the aussis

Lara played two poor shots in the recent games. I think he will realise that, and will try to make up for it today. He is due a good score.

Lara scoring a duck was not the only thing to go wrong. I also thought the World 11 would would imrpove as the series progressed. In actuality they were rubbish in all 3 matches.

sehwag, kallis and lara where rubbish to say least. maybe next time players
shud be picked on merit rather than on name!
