View Full Version : England - is this their moment?
I must say, in a long time...England look like a strong contender. Most of their players are firing and are led by a in-form KP who can change a game in the span of 30 balls. Other additions like Kieswetter, Yardy, and Lumb have given them more of a one-day style feel to their team.
They pummelled Ireland. Unlucky to lose to WI on DL method. Beat us and are currently all over SA.
Do they have a chance to go all the way?

I'm not sure they can overcome Australia. They are very reliant on KP and Morgan with the bat and their bowling (except Swann) can be targetted. Playing very well atm though, good luck to them.

I am fully expecting an England Australia final
Aussies still the favourites for me.
Good call Amir.
They look a powerful well balanced team and with KP they have a matchwinner in their ranks.
The positive intent from the batsmen, the excellent all round fielding effort and the variety of the bowling attack, makes for a solid unit.

...also well coached by a Zimbabwean, a Pakistani spin bowling coach and an asian or two on the bench. Very balanced indeed. ;-)

Peaking too early, and don't forget...
Pieterson's wife is about to 'drop the bomb' and he will have to leave the team. :13:
