Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists on Thursday barged into the Malad office of a TV channel and warned of dire consequences if the channel continued featuring Pakistani artistes, such as Shakeel Siddiqui, in its show. Siddiqui was assaulted by party activists in the wake of the 26/11 terror attack and warned not to visit India. He is back in the city for filming 'Comedy Ka Superstar' on the channel and the MNS has in a notice demanded that he be asked to leave the country at the earliest. "Several policemen and citizens lost their lives in the 26/11 attacks and Siddiqui, who was shooting for a show then too, was made to leave India," said MNS Cine Workers' Association president Ameya Khopkar. "If the channel is firm on getting Pakistani artistes, it will be difficult for them to function here in future. We are capable of controlling their love for such artistes," Khopkar said. A channel spokesperson said Siddiqui was brought to India by 'Optimistic Production House', which is shooting 'Comedy Ka Superstar'.

Shakeel Siddiquie, the famous stand up comedian has already shot the episodes for this program. The promos are running and the episodes will be telecast from next week.
Thats the perfect reply for jokers and goons like MNS. SHows them their true worth.
Additionaly, Maharashtra govt needs to act tough and put these goons behind the bars under strict section of the Indian Penal Code.

he is a good comedian,but he is non veg comedian.

No one starts bashing them until it starts affecting them.
US didnot attacked Taliban until9/11 happened.
We dont have any concern with a country whether muslim hindu or christian until they come and create problems in ours.

2. that comment was made specifically to some one who made fun of modern day democracies.They work a lot better than dictatorships and military laws.
3. India and Pakistan are not friendly countries so there will be protests againist their citizens when they visit across the border.This is a truth and no one can change it.

Shakeel is useless he is nowhere near as good as Umer sharif , Skindar Sanam is a better comedian than shakeel as well.
