Your Fav Mili Naghma

over the years, our singers have sung some fantastic "Mili Naghmay " (National songs), wat will be your top 3 ?
choose 3 from classics and 3 from recent singers.

Classics :

1 : Aye Puttar Hatan tay nahi vickday :D (Late Madam Noor Jahan)
2 : Aye Watan, Pak Watan (Ustadd Amanat Ali Khan)
3 : Yeh Watan Tumhara Hai (Living Legend Mehdi Hassan)

From recent songs :
1 : Jazba Junoon (by Junoon)
2 : Yahi Zameen (Junaid Jamshed)
3 : Dil Se (Haroon)

NOTE : I m putting Dil Dil Pakistan in Old/Classic songs as it's 20-21 years old song.

Salman 5th September 2006 09:22

Jivay Jivay Pakistan, sung by some woman in the 70's in a child's voice...

Hussain 5th September 2006 09:25

Classics

1)- Ae watan piyare watan

2)- Jeevay Pakistan

3)- is parcham ke saye talle

New

1)- Jazba junoon
2)- Dil Dil Pakistan
3)- Dil se

Btw: I dont agree in classifying dil dil pakistan as an oldie for being 20 yrs old ......since many of the milli naghmas are more than 40 (or even 50) years old ...considering that dill dill Pakistan is quite new compared to them

i know but I wanted to se some songs by new singers as well after 90s.
BUT even though Dil Dil Pakistani was out 1986, it is still one of best.

Ustaad Amanat Ali Khan was gr8 gr8 singer :)

Fantastic link MIG, thanks a lot yaar. Some old fab classics there. The only one missing is 'Chand Meri Zameen'.

My personal favourite is 'Sohni Dharti'. I dont know about you guys, but I get emotional after listening to these fab renditions.
