I watched a glimpse of this program today as Afridi was live on telephone with his ******, Yahya Hussaini on Geo...

I just heard couple of lines and found out that Afridi behaved like he was not a part of this current team in any format.

Lol at Afridi calling himself aggressive and Misbah defensive. Afridi in his mannerisms, pitch tampering and ball eating is aggressive. Afridi himself was a defensive captain. It's like he's hinting that he is a more aggressive alternative instead of Misbah.

Can't believe a player part of the international teams can make these sort of comments in the media. What player has the right to talk like this while still playing?

    Look who is talking..

Being dropped 34 times in 17 year is no doubt an honor.

"I am still available to captain Pakistan whenever my nation needs me.
After being fired, he has no shame of putting his name up there one more time.

"Inzamam-ul-Haq should be appointed as the batting coach as soon as possible."
At least, his spot in the team is guaranteed.

LoL From the one who ran away not only from Captiancy but also announced retired (from test cricket), in middle of the England tour. which led to promotion of non-deserving Salman butt to captiancy. That led to spot fixing. Still this guy keeps talking

If I was part of PCB I would make sure Afridi had nothing to do with cricket in pakistan, what a waste! To be honest each and every one of these guys are out there for themselves they don't care about us, they only know how to talk and fool us. We sit here raising our hopes series after series thinking the change will come but it hasn't.

Afridi lost those matches in less time than it took Misbah to win them.

Ergo Afridi is more aggressive and a better captain.

Misbah might be defensive, passive, meek, negative etc whatever captain but at least he is not a coward. Loads of problems but he's still fighting it out there. Has not ditched his team/country and run away with his tail between his legs like what the so called beast did when the going got tough.

I remember Misbah supported Afridi too when there were talks of making Misbah captain to replace Afridi.

Can clearly see the difference in class between Misbah and Afridi. Misbah is criticised, constantly bashed, yet still works hard and tries to get the best out of his team. He doesn't simply run away, nor is he happy to bash or make irresponsible comments in the media about other players.

Afridi on the other hand bears no responsibility whether it's on the field or off it. There are days where he looks unmotivated out there and he's not giving his full best. He as you said ran away when things got tough in the tests. And even ran away due to him losing captaincy. Even though his loss of captaincy was completely his fault, due to his media comments which he had been warned previously to stop.

Sick of Afridi making comments like this. No player in any country even Pakistan will be allowed to get away making these comments accept Afridi. And he is one of the most experience cricketers around today. By now he must know the impact of these comments. And yet he still keeps making them. Shows what kind of character he is.

I am still available to captain Pakistan whenever my nation needs me.
Your spot in the team itself is in doubt. then how could you eye on captaincy

After 17 years, it's still an honour for me to represent Pakistan.
Even After 17 years of service its quite shameful that you have improved a zilch

Everybody has his own style of playing, but one must not leave the natural style.
Your natural style has let down our team most of the time

In limited overs cricket, you don't have much time to recover.

It was disappointing to see Pakistan go down in that Test match
losing a game against a B-Team Minnow is pathetic irrespective of the format

"We went down to Zimbabwe's level to play against them

Our level is, Alhamdullilah, way higher than them and we should have played to that level
Wrong, it was Zimbabwe who went down to our level and lost one game in each format

    1) stupid statement. Afridi himself was a defensive captain, infact not only his captaincy, even as a bowler he was a defensive player. He always looked to get his wickets from the batsmens mistake, which is defensive. Hence this show afridi has no idea about whats defensive or aggressive..

    2) shame on this guy. During the 2010 new zealand series when there were doubts about him leading the team in the world cup and Misbah being made the captain, Misbah came out to support this selfish guy...

What a shameless cricketer. Afridi is part of the problem. He is one of the players who need to be dropped for good

And since he talked about captaincy, didnt he retire in the middle of a test series, a format he said he donest want to play anymore? So where does all this come from.

And then this guy has fans
