Dave Meltzer is reporting although Lesnars people are hush hush, his contract with WWE expires in 90 days and he hasnt resigned because he will be signing with the UFC.

FRB also mentions that he may likely train at Roufusport (which is where CM Punk has confirmed he will train, who is a good friend of Brock) with Duke Roufus along with fighters like Ben Askren and Anthony Pettis.

Heyman on MMA Live with Helwani mentioned that Lesnar was never 100% even through his college career... but at this point he is. More in shape than hes been throughout the UFC

He has to drop weight though, as he is now above 300lbs. Which shouldnt be an issue.

A number of insiders are reporting this, Lesnar will return to MMA fighting after his contract expires with the WWE. UFC and Bellator will begin the bidding war, WWE won't be able to challenge either in terms of finances.

This is true, a number of MMA fans tend to disregard that fact. Lesnar had been fighting with diverticulitis never mind not wrestling for 7 years before stepping in the octagon at the age of 30, he never pursued an MMA career as a spring chicken but despite that he had descent run in the UFC given the freak of nature he is.

You can use the same logic to want ronda rousey to fight miesha tate for a third time, thing is when you lose and fight again in the octagon you have a bigger window of oppourtunity to learn from what went wrong in the previous fights and improve, although the champion can improve in that period but not as much as the challenger because they won't have as many weaknesses to work on, it will all be a matter of executing the same game-plan and that game plan has been predictable but effective. Try not to strike, rely on judo and take the fight to the ground. Miesha tate was probably the most well rounded MMA fighter to tackle that gameplan given her background in submission wrestling but still wasn't able to get the job done although she gave an incredible performance, am all for rousey v tate 3 after or before the cyborg fight. Plus that rivalry!! between the two, we need more of that in the UFC to create a bit of spectacle! lol Man Miesha is so gorgeous bro.

I was rooting for DC to win but as soon as I saw him sit exhausted at the stool after round 1, I knew Jones would take over the fight after the 4th. Jones broke him completely and the videos of DC crying really made my heart go out to him. The guy's a warrior.

Meanwhile, I don't see Jones getting beat unless he moves up to fight Cain. I have no doubt that he'll beat Gus again and will move up to HW for a superfight with Cain and I expect the UFC to work the revenge angle for that fight. I expect Cain to do everything DC did, but better as he's a much better clinch fighter than Cormier and has cardio for days.

PS : Meisha is so hot that I managed to tune in to TUF every week just to see her. Dem Yoga pants, bro.

To those who didn't see the fight; I'll provide a summary.

Round 1 - Both fighters came out aggressive with DC struggling to get inside the reach of Jones but still managing to land quite a few punches. Jones utilized his kicks and knees and got a clinch reversal takedown for a brief moment.

Round 2 - The most dominant round for DC. Implemented his gameplan, made it a dogfight, still couldn't take him down. Only won this round IMO.

Round 3 - A close round but Jones won this due to being more active.

Round 4 - Cormier exhausted and got taken down 2 times. Dominantly. Got broken mentally. Jones' most dominant round.

Round 5 - DC finally gets a TD, slams Jones. Only a moral victory. Was trying for a single leg in the last moments of the fight, and Jones started celebrating, a few punches were thrown seconds after the bell rang with Jones finally DX chopping an already broken Cormier. 49-46.

Cheers for this, i didn't get time to see it or find a link.

Which season was it that Miesha Tate and Ronda appeared on TUF?

    Can't wait for this:

I think fans are underrating Cat a bit going into the fight, am going to say she will give Ronda the toughest fight of her career.

UFC 184 is shaping up to be a good card, I only watch the main-events though if am honest unless there's a particular fighter i really like on the undercard i don't pay much attention to it

It was TUF 18, bud. Only season where I watched every episode.

Personally, the only way Cat wins this is if she takes Ronda into the championship rounds. Ronda's "bad" striking is overplayed and she's been improving every fight. Add to that, Zingano's most lethal attack is her knees and to use them, she must get Ronda into the clinch which is playing with fire.

    Thanks Buddy

Ronda just has that knack of getting better, I think the biggest mistake her opponents can make is underestimating her striking. Cat can still cause some damage long range going in the clinch would be suicidal in letting Ronda use that Judo Takedown. I just got a gut feeling Cat will be her toughest fight but on paper she could lose in the first round given that her style is made for Ronda.

I would love for Cat to cause the upset, man. She's my favorite woman fighter on the roster, and I've followed her career from the beginning. Being married to a BJJ world champion certainly honed her skills on the ground and I actually doubt that she'll get arm-barred. The woman is a fighter through and through; to come back after the torrid year she had in her personal life and beat a top opponent like Nunez shows her heart.

Anyway, another awesome card coming our way on Saturday. UFC Fight Night with Conor headlining. What do you reckon Siver's chances are? I'm all aboard the McGregor hype-train and I think he'll finish Siver in a round, then in true Conor style cut a WWE-style promo calling out Aldo for a fight in Dublin.

Also on the card, my man Cerrone fighting Benson. Cerrone just fought on the Jan 3 card, remember! The man is insane!

It would be interesting to see how Ronda's stock would be affected after losing her unbeaten record. I've not followed Cats personal life story so much but she seems like a really nice person that puts her heart and soul into everything, probably one of the most emotional fighters ever in UFC. She has a big dil

I don't follow those guys so much but i think Siever will defeat Conor imo

Which ones are you talking about? Ring girls or fighters? If you're talking about ring girls then the ones they had on their card in Macau or somewhere in Asia were some of the most gorgeous looking girls I've ever seen. If you're talking about fighters then Tate is the only beauty out there, and recently Paige Van Zant.

The UFC is milking McGregor to garner as much money as the can off him before he loses. The last fight was one if the most lopsided match ups that I can remember. We will finally get to see how good McGregor is when he steps in the ring with Aldo so far he really hasn't been up against a world class fighter.

The UFC is milking Conor because they SHOULD milk him. They haven't had a bonafide superstar since GSP/Silva have been out of action and like him or not Conor has brought out a lot of fans to the sport now. People taunt his road to the title shot, but conveniently forget that Mendes got a title shot based on victories vs Elkins/Lentz/Guida and CODY MCKENZIE! With the exception of Lentz, who was a legit opponent (Mendes looked bad against him), the rest were extremely lop-sided match-ups. Meanwhile, Conor took on Brandao/Siver/Poirier. Poirier at the time was top 5 and McGregor made him crumble inside a round.

Also, people are severely underrating Conor's performance against Siver. Siver held his own against Swanson for two rounds before gassing and is generally a very good striker and an adequate grappler. McGregor toyed with him throughout the fight and made him look like he didn't belong in the octagon. How anyone wasn't impressed with his performance is beyond me. For the first time in ages, you see MMA on social media sites getting recognition because of Conor McGregor. The UFC has built him up perfectly.

Now for my breakdown of the Aldo-McGregor fight. People correctly make the point that Conor has never been in the cage with a beast like Aldo, who won't be even slightly bothered by his antics and talk outside the cage. However, Conor has shown that he revels in the spotlight, he puts added pressure on himself to perform when the going gets tough. Just tell me how many strikers has Aldo faced that were on the level of Conor? Zero. Zilch. Nada. Edgar? No power. Mendes? Too flat-footed. Faber? Please.

McGregor is brilliant at closing the distance down on his opponents, he fights with his chin-up and leaves himself open to the counter and relies on his reflexes. He has much much better boxing than Aldo and Aldo has infinitely better kicks. But McGregor won't stand flat-footed in front of him and let him pepper his legs, for every leg kick Aldo lands, he'll be countered with a straight left to the face. Also, Conor will have a huge reach advantage. Siver has the same reach as Aldo (70'').

I haven't been so sure of a victory for a challenger since TJ vs Barao.

Was avoiding this thread until i watched the fight Siver didn't look like he belonged in the octagon with McGregor, you never came to win he came to survive and i don't blame him. I've not seen a fighter so confident he got a bit of Ali in him, McGregor makes MMA look so easy. Siver is no bum, top 10 fighter and although Joe Aldo is on another level you need to give him credit for the win. He's quiet the showman too isn't he, cut one hell of a promo at the end there he got one big loyal fanbase, a lot of the fans in Boston had come all the way from Ireland.

McGregor is easily the best talker in the business and is generating a lot of interest for MMA in Europe, not just Ireland. Social media websites like The Sport Bible have close to 5 millions and until recently they had never posted a thing about MMA, but they have shown 3 McGregor promos this past week.

I actually think Conor will have more trouble with Mendes and Edgar than Aldo. Aldo is an incredible striker but I just believe that Conor will find a way to counter those leg-kicks. I'll mention this again, Conor fights very rangy and long, Siver may be a midget but he still has the same reach as Aldo which means Conor will be able to box him where Aldo can't catch him. I won't be surprised if Aldo mixes up a few takedowns. He's very happy that this fight his happening, he's been complaining about fighter pay for a while and he knows he will make some serious dough with this fight.

A big blow to UFC after Gustafsson took a beating in the first round from Johnson in Stockholm, Sweden. The much anticipated Gustafsson vs Jones match up seems pretty much death now. I reckon UFC should have matched up Gustafsson with a lame duck like they did to McGregor which would have guaranteed a victory and a showdown with Jones.

As for Johnson even though he has a pretty good resume and deadly power expect Jones to pick him apart and make easy work of him.

I didn't rate Conor that highly before the Poirier/Siver fights. I'm not underestimating Aldo at all, but I believe that Conor is the toughest challenger Aldo has faced. People will argue Edgar/Mendes were tougher fights but due to Aldo's incredible TDD, they primarily became striking battles where Jose has a huge advantage.

Now for the first he's going up against a guy who has better boxing than him, better movement and is rangier. Do you dispute that? Aldo has the best leg kicks in the game and they will be the biggest factor in this fight, as to how Conor counters them because if he takes 10+ of them in the first two rounds, his movement will be hampered.

I never underestimate Aldo; I dislike him because he's SO good and dominant. Same reason, I don't like Silva and Jones. This is the first fight where I've picked against Aldo. I knew Mendes/Zombie/Edgar all had nothing for him in the striking department, and Aldo has godly TDD so they can't take him down. I just have a gut-feeling that Conor will be the new champ, and I'm very rarely wrong about such things when it comes to MMA. Not missed an event since '05.

As for Johnson even though he has a pretty good resume and deadly power expect Jones to pick him apart and make easy work of him.
I agree. Gus' ego and willingness to fight whoever and whenever cost him his shot. I still believe he can give Jones fits but what's the point now? I don't see Rumble troubling Jones either. He'll just weather the early storm by keeping his palm in Rumble's face throughout the first two rounds, staying out of range and pepper him with leg-kicks, then take over from round 3 as Rumble fades.

Props to Johnson for fighting the perfect fight though. Felt so bad when Gus cried. It was a battle between two of the most humble guys in the UFC.

Interesting, since it involves India and Pakistan it will probably be a big event but I have my doubts on the quality of the fights lol. Anyways would be interesting to see what comes out of it.

We'll see some unique tactics being employed, kabbadi style, big emphasis on trash talking during fights, power matches, great use of taunts etc

I can't predict Silva or Diaz, after an injury like that hard to make any kind of prediction for that fight but am going with Silva. I'll be routing for Miesha Tate to hope she wins, what time does the fight start live in the UK? i might just watch the replay if it's early in the morning

Usually events start around 2 GMT, so I guess same time will apply. You should the replay definitely. I'm in Pakistan and only Sony Six covers the live event and that channel is hardly on tv, so I usually wait for the torrent to come up hence my analysis is usually a day after the event.

I agree the Silva/Diaz is impossible to predict but the odds are overwhelmingly in Anderson's favor. I'm not particularly interested in this fight either tbh because I'm not a fan of either guy and if they were up against anyone other than each other I would be rooting for the the other guy. Silva will win this easily if he comes in shape but I hope this is a fun fight and if a Diaz win means we won't get to waste time with another Weidman/Silva match up then I hope Diaz wins.

I'm going all-out for the underdog in pretty much all the fights in this card, so expect me to go 0/5 prediction wise.

    Mein vs Alves
    Leites vs Boetsch
Lauzon vs Iaquinta (how this fight is on the main card over Lineker/McCall or even McMann/Tate, I'll never know)
    Gastelum vs Woodley
    Silva vs Diaz

These picks are of course severely biased on what I wish to happen though. If I was to objectively predict, then McCall and Mein wouldn't be my picks.

I have followed the career of shamrock here and there given the wwf influence but became a casual fan of UFC because of Anderson Silva, and the funny thing is when i watched his fights i didn't realise he was so huge or one of the best P4P fighters in the world around the 2007 or 2008 period, i guess my knowledge of various fighting styles helped but the way he was performing it was easy to fall in love with what he was doing in the manner he was doing it you just could feel you were watching something special and they say you can't exactly describe the "it" factor but Anderson Silva for me was just that. Because of that he'll always be my fav fighter along with sanchez. Come on man route for Silva, he is the underdog!

So it starts basically 2am GMT on sunday in UK, hard to find anything on the net which confirms that.

I feel Anderson will absolutely obliterate Diaz. I think he will treat him pretty similar to Griffin if not worse, as for the rest of the card the only other fight I am genuinely interested in is Woodley vs Gastelum and I pick Woodley to stop Gastelum.

p.s Personally I feel Anderson should have retired and moved on but since he is making come back and seems quite motivated I just don't see how Diaz can survive or counter the spider even if he is coming back from potential career ending injury.

I only watched two fights, Silva v Diaz and Tate v Sarah.

Silva v Diaz, Anderson totally dominant barely broke a sweat and looked so relaxed in there loves his counters, kept back and was accurate with his strikes. Diaz was taunting him and trash talking him with the hope silva would be more aggressive but that never worked out which made him look like a clown. He was like a punching bag that kept moving forward lmao i was hoping he got knocked out, glad Silva won going by the post fight interview am not sure if he'll fight again. Was extremely emotional, it's never a nice feeling when you're on the floor but silva got back up with a big win here. He could retire the greatest ever or fight on i have no issues going by his performance.

Tate v Sarah, what a fight! that was awesome. Looked like Sarah trained for the KO her punchers were very powerful striking was very good. But Tate took her shots pretty well, anyways in the first round Tate was rocked by a right hook which took her to the mat where Sarah controlled most of the fight towards the end in the last 10 secs Tate applied the sizzors around Sarahs neck but it was too late and Sarah had won that round. Second round Sarah continued her striking, Tate couldn't find any kind of rhythm then she rocked Sarah with some shots before applying a guilotine choke! but couldn't quiet get it locked in but controlled Sarah on the mat with a single arm trying to get her to tap but Sarah managed to survive. In the final round Sarah was dominating with some absolutely viscous striking straight powerful punches and knees to the mid section, Sarah then attempted a take down which she wasn't entirely in control of thanks to Miesha Tates defence and then Tate immediately jumped on top of her controlling Sarah on the mat and hitting her with rights/lefts and some hard Elbows.

Was a great fight and huge win for Tate not only because of the fact that she was in the ring with a free style wrestling Olympic Silver medalist but because of the scare in the first round, we all had tate as the fav but it was always going to be a close fight when the two are so equally matched especially in-terms of wrestling but what a champion Tate is Bring on Rousey for a third time! I'd watch that fight.

Couldn't watch Tate vs Sarah as it wasn't on the main card but it seems like they had a back and forth war. Nice to see Tate get the W again, and like you said I would love to see Ronda vs Tate 3 but only for reasons that totally unrelated to fighting.

The event was actually pretty good, I thought. Really exciting fights all around except for the co-main event. Diaz vs Silva was a great workout session for Silva and pretty much exactly the fight he should've been looking for. Spent 5 rounds in the cage, did all this crazy stuff that he wouldn't normally do. Diaz did better than I thought he would, IMO he won rounds 1 and 4 (I think) by being more active and his taunting had me in stitches in Round 1. Good fun fight and it was sad to see Silva curl up in a heap after the fight, the guy was emotional as hell and I think he should just hang it up with a W.

However, I hope that this fight convinces the UFC that Silva is not ready to face Weidman again, and since he won't face half the division because of his Brazilian connections (Jacare/Machida) then he should just call it quits unless there's a GSP fight on the horizon.

Seriously you need to watch Tate v Sarah, that Sarah chick surprised me quiet a bit i didn't think she was that good i should have known better given that she is an olympian. It was a great war though.

Perhaps Silva was a little in his shell given that it was his first fight after coming back maybe he got a little more to offer but the fact that he was roided up I don't know what to say now

    Why did GSP quit

Here's the weird thing, the test was done pre-fight, which meant the UFC knew that he was taking steroids. Diaz's test was conducted post-fight but we all know he's always on something during the fight. This really tarnishes Silva's legacy in the sense that what if he had been using steroids since 2011? We might as well put an asterisk next to all his wins because this is the first time he's been tested.

I'm not saying he's been juiced the whole time but people will now definitely start asking question. Silva has denied using PEDs once the news broke out but people are quick to jump on his back because he had a VERY anti-steroid stance and constantly spoke out against them. For me, in the GOAT discussion, he was always third behind GSP and Fedor and Jones will probably overtake him when he retires, but for the people that considered him the GOAT, they now have very little defense left.

Terrible news. Silva's legacy is certainly tarnished and deservedly so if he knowingly cheated. I was wondering why Rogan and White were trying their very best to downplay Silva's performance, UFC top brass certainly knew what was going on way before the fight.

Does UFC have a drug problem? Jeremy Botter of CNN/Bleacher Report seems to think so. Comments?

The UFC's announcement of Anderson Silva's failed test for performance-enhancing drugs once again brought the topic of PEDs in mixed martial arts to the forefront of discussion. It's a sore subject.

But in reality, performance-enhancing drugs have been an albatross around the neck of the sport since the beginning, and nothing has changed.

Today, intrepid MMA lead writers Jonathan Snowden and Jeremy Botter re-form their version of the Megapowers to tackle the latest installment of The Question: Does the UFC have a drug problem?

    Read on for the answer.

Jeremy: Hey, Jonathan, do you remember the good old days? And by the good old days, I mean like two months ago, back before the UFC's current best fighter and the man many consider to be the best fighter of all time each popped for very different drugs?

It feels like this is a heated thing, with Anderson Silva and Jon Jones in the spotlight, because they are supposed to represent the best this sport has to offer. They're still the best the sport has to offer, of course; it's just that one of them likes doing recreational drugs and the other, well, it looks like he's probably a cheater.

But as you've constantly reminded everyone, the notion of a top UFC star failing for performance-enhancing drugs shouldn't surprise anyone. When I heard about Silva's failed test on Tuesday night, I went: Oh. Well, that's not surprising.

And that's a disappointment. Silva is supposed to represent something different. Or perhaps we are far too idealistic about a sport consumed with violence.

So the questions we're here to address today are: Does the UFC have a drug problem? Has the UFC always HAD a drug problem? And does it even matter anymore?

Jonathan: I think the answer to all of those questions is a clear "yes." But before we jump into the heart of the matter, I wanted to run something by you.

I've been thinking a lot about Silva today. For once, however, that's not creepy. At least not entirely.

I've seen many people in our world declare their shock and surprise at his drug bust. And, though an MMA star popping hot shouldn't surprise anyone in 2015, I don't think it's feigned.

This isn't simply the outrage we've all become accustomed to expressing online. It's something deeper.

Silva's steroid use is legitimately surprising to people, not because he's some kind of MMA saint, but because he's got chicken legs and the skinny arms of a bullied teen in a 1970s Charles Atlas comic book ad.

    And that? That's hilarious.

Jeremy: That is hilarious because it shows that our mind's idea of what a steroid user should look like stems solely from pre-2009 World Wrestling Entertainment. But you and I both know this isn't the case.

Folks who juice don't have to look like they're juicing, if that makes sense. They don't have to have the bulging muscles. Steroid abusers can look like you or me.

Well, that might be a stretch. But they can look like Silva, at least. You can look at some dudes and go, yeah, they are taking all kinds of sauce. But you can look at other guys, at Silva or Royce Gracie, and never figure out they're taking something unless they fail a drug test.

At this point, nothing is surprising. There are many 3-4 fighters who, if they failed a test, would surprise me. And even then, I'd have to look down in the depths of my soul and find out if I'm really surprised, or if I'm just pretending to be surprised. Because it is a fact: Performance-enhancing drugs are absolutely rampant in mixed martial arts.

Jonathan: The fact that three of the UFC's last four headliners have failed drug tests is a pretty clear indication that the company does, in fact have a drug problem. That the mainstream world doesn't seem to care is both a good and a bad thing.

On some level, the UFC has to feel relieved that even the most aberrant behavior isn't enough to bring more than just momentary scrutiny from the mass media. They are free, as always, to operate almost entirely beneath the radar, a niche sport responsible only to its small group of loyal fans and athletes.

Then again, after a decade of fighting for mainstream acceptance, it almost has to hurt seeing the sport's biggest superstar reduced to the level of a WNBA players' contract dispute on the national stage.

Even poor boxing, disparaged as it is, would garner legitimate headlines if Floyd Mayweather tested positive for cocaine before a fight or was caught using steroids. But when it happens to Anderson Silva? Crickets.

MMA has a drug problem for sure. But that may be the least of their worries at this point.

Hector Lombard is the latest UFC star to test positive for PED.

Aussie Hector Lombard tests positive for banned substance following UFC 182
DAMON MARTIN, JAI BEDNALL news.com.au February 11, 2015 10:20AM SHARE

AUSTRALIA’S Hector Lombard is the latest mixed martial artist to test positive for banned substances following his fight against Josh Burkman at UFC 182 in Las Vegas on January 3.

Lombard joins the growing list of fighters testing positive for banned substances recently — most notably former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, who also tested positive for performance enhancing drugs following his fight at UFC 183 on January 31.

The string of positive tests is prompting many of the sports stars to speak out, including women’s champion Ronda Rousey.

“I was heartbroken to hear (about Silva’s positive test),” Rousey told Yahoo Sports. “I wanted to cry.

“People need to realise that is a weapon and they’re bringing a weapon into the cage and they’re making our sport unsafe.

“The day that a person dies in that Octagon and the person who killed them tests positive for performance-enhancing drugs, we’re going to have our first homicide case. It’s going to destroy the whole sport.”

Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has also expressed serious concern, saying he will only consider ending his retirement if third-party drug-testing is introduced.

“If we would do third-party tests, it would scare the steroid users and it would change the face of the sport. Trust me. Entire rankings would change,” St-Pierre told ESPN.com.

“Whether people want to believe it or not, it’s a huge problem.”

A Nevada State Athletic Commission report confirmed on Tuesday following an initial story from MMAFighting.com that Lombard failed his fight night drug test with a positive result for desoxymethyltestosterone — an anabolic steroid banned as a performance enhancing drug.

Desoxymethyltestosterone is described as a ‘designer’ steroid that helps build maximum muscle and strength with minimal weight gain.

The test was conducted on the night of the fight and the sample was tested by Quest Diagnostics in Kansas.

Before the fight, Lombard — the UFC’s fifth ranked welterweight — had spoken of his desire to be part of a potential UFC card in Melbourne.

“I want to do well and then fight in Australia, in Melbourne,” Lombard declared.

“I want to be the main event on the Victorian card. I will do anything it takes to impress the UFC and be the main event in Victoria, which is going to be huge.

“I’m an Australian Citizen, I fight for Australia, so to fight in front of my fans there would be huge.”

Lombard was originally expected to face Rory MacDonald as the co-main event for UFC 186 in Montreal in April, but the fight was suddenly cancelled on Tuesday with no reason given for the change.

Now it’s clear that the fight was cancelled after Lombard’s positive test was returned.

Lombard’s opponent, Josh Burkman, was also tested and came back clear of all performance enhancing substances.

The positive test result for Lombard will now land him in the crosshairs of the commission with a temporary suspension likely headed his way if he ends up on the governing body’s agenda on Feb. 17 or possibly get pushed to March depending on the timing of the result and whether or not his case can be added this close to the meeting.

Either way, Lombard will not be fighting MacDonald or anyone else in the near future until this matter is settled. MacDonald will now be rebooked for a different fight although at this time no formal announcements have been made.

I think you need a lot more stringent testing and education. It should be no different from boxing. There needs to be a comprehensive cleanout.

The only thing that could minimize the damage done to UFC recently with one controversy after another and lesser the blow of constant bad publicity is a strong UFC 184 and a hype up promotion of McGregor vs Aldo fight. Anymore positive drug test on either of those cards specially by well known fighters could be damning and have dire consequences for UFC.

The UFC 184 card is pretty bad tbh. Holm in the co-main? Please.

Agree UFC 184 become a joke after Wideman pull out. They had enough time to come up with a decent substitute but it seems like they are banking on Rousey to pull the PPV numbers which I think is risky, but it seems like UFC know they will hit the jackpot with the McGregor fight so they kind of gave up on this card.

Vehemently against it. I think if steroids or performances enhancing drugs was ever legalized in either sports it would be the death sentence for both sports. Youth participation is extremely important for any sports to stay relevant over a period of time, if parent knew that their kids would have to take performance enhancing drugs to become known in these sports participation would die down rapidly and with it the sport will become irrelevant in matter of a decade or two. Now if performance enhancing drugs go on to become norm in every sport and there is no longer taboo when it comes to drug use in sports than its a different story.

I understand that, but when I say legalized am not saying that every sportsman has to take steds it could be a personal choice and up to the fighter. At least MMA/boxing fighters that don't use the steds would go into each fight knowing exactly what they're dealing with because 90% of the time they don't and they fight guys that have taken peformance enhancing drugs. I agree with Mike Tyson though, taking that stuff might make you feel confident psychologically but it's the spirit that makes you a better fighter and you can take that stuff and still lose.

I don't know bro its a touchy subject. Personally if I knew both or one of the fighters were drugged up going into a fight, the result or the actual fight will have no meaning to me. For intance if Aldo comes out and says he is taking sterioids to prepare for McGregor than that fight is as good as death to me. I would much rather have a system in place that if a fighter is caught using they are banned for a minimum of 5 years on first offense. I think that would discourage majority of them from jeopardizing their careers.

I know it's touchy, am not saying they should legalize it but was just a thought I had because there are so many professionals taking them man just look at what Armstrong was doing. But agree there if they come down really hard like that then fighters would think twice but if you're a promoter and have cash cow like Silva for example would you really enforce a rule like that? things like these get in the way of harsh punishments.

The UFC 184 card is seriously weak. I don't know if I will waste time or money just to see Rousey dominate another opponent. I think this event might do one of the lowest ppv buys ever in UFC. Other than the main event the rest of the card is abysmal.

What the, I don't believe that finish. Expected Ronda to win but thought Cat would put up a better fight. I can see these two fighting again in a rematch at some point. Other then Miesha Tate I don't see anyone being competitive against Ronda.
