Looks a classical player seems like one of the main beneficiary of better quality FC wickets this year in the past seasons you needed to be attacking (Fakhar) or unorthodox (Fawas Alam) to score consistently more classical bats struggled to put up runs regularly.

I rate Adil Amin more than Faizan Riaz. In fact I would have had Adil Amin in the ODI squad vs Sri Lanka, over Iftikhar, but then Ifti proved me wrong and it seems he has improved.

Following Musadiq’s exit, Adil held Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s innings together as the 29-year-old right-handed batsman stroked a valiant 90 from 181 balls.

Over the course of his stay at the crease, which was studded with nine fours and two sixes, Adil also stitched a crucial 99-run stand for the fourth wicket with Kamran Ghulam, who made 175-ball 64, which included nine boundaries.

From PCB Report, Day 2, Round 8, QEA20

Earlier, Adil Amin converted his overnight score of 76 into his career’s fourth first-class century as he scored a brilliant 172. The 30-year-old faced 330 balls and smashed 15 fours and three sixes.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa started the day’s play at 296 for three and Adil had in-form Kamran Ghulam as his partner who added 15 runs to his yesterday’s score before he was dismissed by leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood, who recorded his career’s fifth five-wicket haul with six for 163, on 160.

The pair stretched their 211-run stand from the opening day’s play to 239 before Zahid came into action and rolled over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s middle and lower-order.

Kamran struck 21 four and a six in his 285-ball knock.

Amazing how this guy with a good domestic record and experience and an ability to play long innings according to game situation has never been picked. He can hit them big too.
Much better than hacks like Azam khan khushdil asif sohaib maqsoid haider etc.
