Enter Pakistan and eliminate terrorism from its roots, says Shiv Sena

Hitting out at Pakistan after four jawans were killed in Kashmir, Shiv Sena on Tuesday said it has accorded "independent soldiers" status to terrorists for which India is paying a heavy price and rued there's a dearth of political will to carry out Myanmar-like strikes in PoK.

"Instead of saying that Pakistan is sponsoring terrorists, it would be better to say that these terrorists have been accorded the status of 'independent soldiers' by Pakistan," an editorial in Sena mouthpiece 'Saamana' said.

"The way our forces entered Myanmar to eliminate terrorists, we are capable of doing the same in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as well," it said.

"Indian Air Force Chief (Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha) says the intent and decision (to strike at terror camps in PoK) will have to be taken by the political leadership. It is understood then that there is no dearth of willingness and capabilities, but there is less or no political will to do so," the Sena said.

"What bravery is it that we keep garlanding the coffins of martyred jawans? Enter Pakistan once and eliminate terrorism from its roots," the party said.
Slamming Pakistan, it said, "Those who we kill are given the status of martyrs by them and memorials are constructed." "We are not fighting a battle with Pakistani soldiers, but with terrorists who have been trained by the neighbouring country. Sadly, these terrorists are outweighing us," it said.

This is an excellent proposal. I hope Shiv Sena's troops personally take up this responsibility.

kool. Why dont their goons go personally to PoK and perform ?

Instead of holding demonstrations, ransacking shops, infusing mobs, picking up fights etc....this assignment could be a win-win situation for both Pakistan & India. goons and terrorists could be eliminated together

Yes why not ? If India truly is a Global Superpower and Pakistan is nothing in comparison , then why not ? There should not be any reason for hesitation .

Im with you. You need to uproot terrorism from its roots so i suggest dropping some paratroopers into nazimabad and then perhaps you can drop a few more into FATA. They will have a great time interacting with the locals.

They missed a golden opportunity to launch hot pursuit while Zaid Hamid was in Saudi custody. They missed the chance and now he is back making our defenses impregnable. The only chance they may have is to send in Kareena to distract Zaid Hamid while they launch their covert operation.

Have travelled a fair bit, but have never seen an advertisement which welcomes people saying, " please visit us but carry a deodorant "...

While you are at it, you should also tell foreigners to carry clean clothes and a razor, the man in picture needs both...

There is a reason why even US has struggled in that area. History is evidence that those people dont bow down or get initimated by anybody. Whether ts Alexander, the Great, the British, The Soviets, the Americans, etc.

The Indians are of course more than welcome to come and have at it if you think you can get better results.

Incidentally, "Khusbu laga key" really took the country by storm circa 1995, popularized by actor Mehmood Akhtar's trademark line in PTV's Hawaaein. He's a corrupt feudal politician in that serial.

Also as far as GT Road trucks go, the line is more associated with Mardan than Peshawar.

No I was not laughing at English of the term you used, but you made it seem like, there is some baniya ki dukaan which granted India the CEOship.

    For the uninitiated:

    1. These companies didn't grant CEOship to India, but a few Indian born smart people.
    2. These people don't owe much to India, apart from getting part of their education in the country.
    3. India didn't lobby for them, they earned it through their own hard work and capabilities.
    4. Read more about Sundar Pichai to see the qualities he had as an individual manager and not as an Indian.
    5. I don't think either of them favours "India" as such, having an Indian CEO is not anyway more beneficial than having an American CEO willing to invest in India.

I am not good in english...so i am frankly telling don't want to argue with ya on this topic..... lol we know bla bla.. it's only less than 30 to 40 year's ago the trend of migrating.. and as of you are thinking india only producing brain with

Also Shahid Masood has got his facts wrong and just flows in emotion. The only logical analyst from Pakistan I find is Hassan Nissar who talks facts and criticises India on points.

If I remember correctly he played a fake 'peer' and not a corrupt politician but that dialogue really did make an impact. I remember my class teacher going nuts when every kid repeated that dialogue in class. Was also the the debut serial of Komal Rizvi.

Right you are. He's a ja'ali peer (notice how it's always the peer who is the charlatan, never the maulvi), allied with the late Fareed Nawaz Baloch, who is a corrupt politician, whose son Qaisar Khan Nizamani is a half-corrupt politician, who is at odds with the bureaucrat Abdullah Kadwani and is married to Komal Rizvi, whose sister Huma Nawab marries Qazi Wajid, and whose father Talat Hussain is hanged, leaving behind the grieving widow Ghazala Kaifi. Quite the star-studded cast.

Speaking of Huma Nawab, I'll always picture her tossing a tape ball in her hand.

I was visiting cousins in New Lalazar, Rawalpindi, and in the evening, during the obligatory cricket match, the batsman, a cousin's friend, hit the ball into someone's house.

Now, legally speaking, per the universally recognized Street Cricketers' Code of Ethics, the batsman is out and needs to go ring the bell and fetch the ball. But I, being the youngest, not only had to field on the boundary all match long, I also had to fetch the ball.

I went, and there she was. It was her parents' house, and she was standing there holding the ball, tossing it up in the air a little and catching it, almost as if she was ready to aim it at the first person to show up.

We stared at each other. I could tell that she was grinding her teeth behind clenched lips. Finally I spoke. "Ball," I said.

She tossed it at me, with a little snort of disgust. And that was that.

Amazing how you actually remember the whole cast and plot after twenty years. Those ptv dramas really were powerful. Or maybe you are just nostalgic
PS: Huma Nawab's image for me will always be the one driving a sports car in Chaand Grahan

That was from 1991's Shabdeg, starring Ali Ejaz as Maula Bakhsh "MB" Bajwa (later MB Shah), and Sohail Asghar as Tariq Qureshi.

Written by the PMLN stooge Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi though.
