    Fred Trueman, Average 21.xx, cost 6000 .
A classical easy action, a mop of unruly jet-black hair and a menacing scowl were the trademarks of Freddie Trueman, the Yorkshire fast bowler who was the first man from any country to take 300 Test wickets, a landmark he reached at The Oval in 1964. Since then many have gone past his overall figure of 307, but few have matched his average (21.57) and strike rate (a wicket every 49 balls).

I think my total cost was 24K. So 36K left for 7 spot, at least I can spend 5k each for remaining spot. not bad tbh .

    Awesome chows turn!

Wisden rated him as one of the most exciting batsmen to ever play the game. He scored over 13k runs at an average of 55 including 45 Test tons. He is none other than great Jacques Kallis (Batsman) 5500 points.

Yup you could do that but it'll cost 3000 extra tho

Cost of Players - see the Cost sheet in the google doc

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=628560031

Total points = 60000 points (For players and spot bidding)

    Batsmen

Points for players according to batting average - For wk/batsmen add 1000 points

    under 25 = 2000 points
    25 to 30 = 2500 points
    30 to 35 = 3000 points
    35 to 40 = 3500 points
    40 to 45 = 4000 points
    45 to 50 = 4500 points
    50 to 55 = 5000 points
    55 to 60 = 5500 points
    60 to 80 = 6500 points
    over 80 = 8500 points

    Bowlers

Points for players according to bowling average

    under 20 = 7000 points
    20 to 25 = 6000 points
    25 to 30 = 5000 points
    30 to 35 = 4000 points
    over 35 = 3000 points

    All-rounders

For genuine all-rounders add up batting and bowling points

Note: If a bowler averages more than 24 with the bat he’ll be considered as an all-rounder.

I just divided batsmen into 10 categories and bowlers into 5 and made it so that for all-rounders you just add both up.

Now that @maddgenius has brought it up if everyone is okay with it I don't see any issues with having an extra category in there for part-timers.

Maybe something like add up batting and bowling points - 1000 points for a part-timer?

I think any batsman with bowling average above 35 should be considered a part-timer and there should not be any additional cost if they are used for bowling.

Make it minimum 1500 i reckon. 1000 could be too cheap for a 5th bowling option since some guys have paid additional 2500 for all rounders averaging 25-30 with the bat

    So something like this?

Made it a bit easier to work with. That way a 35-40 averaging part-timer won't be equal to a 40+ averaging part-timer.

    Bowlers

Points for players according to bowling average

    under 20 = 7000 points
    20 to 25 = 6000 points
    25 to 30 = 5000 points
    30 to 35 = 4000 points
    35 to 40 = 3000 points
    over 40 = 2000 points

    All-rounders

For genuine all-rounders add up batting and bowling points

Note: If a bowler averages more than 24 with the bat he’ll be considered as an all-rounder.

    Part-timers

    Batting points + Bowling points - 500

Note: Bowling average must be 35+ and must have a minimum of 25 Test wickets. Also cannot average more than a wicket a game.

That's the reason wanted to lock Alec Stewart as there aren't too many good batting Wicket Keepers around. There are a few from the 90's who were good.
