I am not blaming misbah , but if you can swing like this in test matches then its more likely that you get wickets. He bowled short all year and that was one of the reasons he didn't get any wickets. Swing is his biggest asset and to get more swing you need to pitch it further up. He needs to understand this.

I believe that he needs to bowl fuller and straighter and things will be better for him. Junaid isn't a swing bowler , he is basically a seam bowler. Even if he bowled from amirs end he would not get this kind of swing , the difference between amir in tests was that he was bowling too wide of the crease and bowling too short. He still is too short but getting there , he is closer to stumps as well. Checkout his clips from test matches and compare his bowling action where he ends.

Amir has got the most swing out of any bowler this odi series it can't be just conditions no one has come close to getting the swing he is getting in these 3 odi's incuding Starc there is a possibility he is getting more and more ready for international circket.

he needs to target the stumps more he is taking the bowled and LBW out of the equation with his L&L including these 3 odi's once he bowls more stump to stump his output will increase exponentially.

if we could get the basics right in the field (No balls, catching etc..) we would have Aussies in big trouble here. But once again we are shooting ourselves in the foot when it comes to trying to do well with the ball in hand.

I agree to this, however I feel the swing in the air for Amir was always consistent, check the NZ series for that, he got Jeet Raval out a couple of times but he was dropped, he got Tom Latham out to similar out swingers like he did to Khwaja, its just the pitches in Aus have been very flat in Aussie, and they don't swing like they used to..

It's just Amir is clueless on flat tracks, and goes for run saving, whereas Sohail IK and Rahat do take a few risks and end up taking more wickets than Amir

Pakistan have used most of their bowling firepower , unfortunately couldn't get enough wickets to cause any problems. Australias match to lose now.

I didn't say you blamed Misbah, I'm just saying alot of people said Misbah asks the bowler to bowl short on the wicket.. like Rashid Latif, he said Misbah is to blame for Amir's short, economical bowling.. I disagree, on that point, when the bowler is not swinging that like that his second choice is to always conserve runs..

But Amir looks harmless and docile on flat tracks, you gotta be able to pull out something extra..
You know its ludicrous how each and every post of yours is predominantly centered around bashing the one good bowler in Pakistani ranks right now, without him you've got 0 potency in pace bowling as he's head and shoulders above the rest of trundlers brigade who seems to be in an abundance in Pakistani circles nowadays. But your blatant intolerance and bigotry won't let you see that as you're more than happy to nitpick and undermine him in anyway you can. Did he steal your lunch back at school or what? I mean why the heck are you so freaking stubborn when it comes to him? You think its fun to disagree with majority for attention seeking but in actuality you're making an absolute fool out of yourself. So grow up and learn to appreciate the one menacing bowler you've at your disposal and be a little bit more grateful.

No he did not , he got a few to swing and that too early swing. He mostly got it to nip and that's called seam bowling.

Hafeez is over attacking, what is the fun of having 2 slips when the ball isn't swinging. Could easily stop singles by taking slips out.

You'll have to read my post again, I said Amir was 'outstanding' today, but one of the posters here said Amir needs to bowl like this in test matches, however need I remind you Amir went wicketless for the last two matches in Australia, and reverted to picking up wickets of the tail against England 50% of the time, which meant he was absolutely clueless on how to bowl in Test Matches where SK outperformed him, in Australia Wahab outperformed him.. learn to accept facts the way they are and stop whining, because criticism is aplenty on this forum, you can accept it or just ignore it.. but try and be a little more tolerant to other people's views

The second slip was removed in Hassan's over and moved over to mid on.

Amir bowling poorly in Test Matches is not Misbah's fault or anyone else's fault.. he didn't bowl it short because Misbah asked him into, by comparison Amir is a negative bowlers in Test Matches.. averages above 50 if I'm not wrong at an economy of 3 something

Amir swung it in most to left handers, didnot get wicket of either opener, Junaid swung it more away from left handers and got both of them.. I watched those overs live and watched them again on PTV sports streaming, it must seem like blasphemy to you but it's true..
