    The fielding is school level.

Don't know whom was saying Mudassar was trundling, but I advise them to turn on the telly now.

    This is some serious pace.

Yeah you can clearly see the difference in pace between Anwar Ali and Mudassar. Gotta think he is bowling around 140 kph.

Yep, but I'd assume every 17 year old bowler needs to work on his control.

It'll be interesting to see if he can stay healthy long-term as his bowling action looks pretty violent to me.

Moin Khan has always addressed Mudassar as a 20 year old, I highly doubt he's genuinely 17.

At least you've learned a valuable lesson. You shouldn't take any notice of PPers crying about TTF's or demanding the selection of allegedly talented youngsters from domestic cricket based on nothing more than looking at the table of averages.

Taj was a more than decent bowler. 5x better than the no skill trundler Junaid Khan.

I don't know how he was today, but I'm guessing lost his fitness thanks to rotting in domestics for so long and not getting picked at peak.

Probably not 25, and domestic can demotivate you, when you're not getting picked despite doing your best.

as I said this system is a joke. Kamran Akmal would score 100s in his sleep in these tournaments. PCB only have these tournaments for formality nothing else.

I'm pretty sure you would've called players like Sharjeel a hack.

Anyways, Shahzaib isn't Sharjeel quality, but is still the 2nd best hitter from the available domestic opener options.

I'm dead serious. What good is that "aggression" and "pace" if you have figures that Wahab Riaz would be proud off.

No, I just don't go gaga over some unknown name because they looked good in a Youtube video. No shortcuts to hard work. If he picks up bucket loads of wickets in domestics then I will be the first one to call for his inclusion in the side. Till then he can continue showing "aggression" to batsmen and then proceed to get smashed to all parts.

Sohail Tanvir and Anwar Ali are the top wicket-takers.

This is the problem with a flawed domestic system.

I watched the first 10 overs or so, and in that period, Ghulam was troubling the batsmen. Yes, he needs to work on his control. But he was going for runs because the fielding was absolute trash. From the opposite end, Anwar was bowling maidens with his 120kph gun-barrel straight bowling.

One of the two has the potential to be an international quality bowler. You tell me which one.

It's a cause of concern when there are no intl quality players in a side, yet it manages to win a domestic tournament.

Apart from maybe Taj Wali, who is 2x better than Junaid. Has a natural inswinger, bowled Shahzaib with that.

I don't buy this "flawed" domestic system logic at every point. Yes we know the domestic cricket is bad, in the words of a poster here "it is worse than gully cricket in India", but in this particular match Ghulam and Anwar were given the same conditions the same opportunity to succeed, and one did and the other failed like no tomorrow.

My point is Ghulam may turn out to be a good bowler in the future, but some PP'ers make him to be the best thing since sliced bread, while at present he is being out-bowled by even Anwar Ali.
