Mosaddek also plays spin very well, but he is on debut. Chasing 191 is never easy, but when you think last 3 wickets for SRL added 143 & 102 in a tight match, probably they deserve to win, or rather we don't deserve.

Herath is probably best ever spinner with new ball. I have seen him countless time using new ball to spin & then bring the armer sharp. It might not be as tough after 35 overs, but we might be 105/6 by then.

Not Mushi's fault entirely. Usual strategy against tail is to take the pace out of spin & float it above eye line; yesterday both spinners were darting, particularly Sakib with all the experience.

SRL's two wicket taking threats are 39 & 35 years old - they badly need to bring one SLAO spinner under Herath, otherwise their attack is too limited.

    Exactly

AUS/ENG/NZ/PAK have all recently lost games on day 5 out of the blue.

Still can't believe how NZ won vs Pakistan in the last session of the test at the end of last year.

Even though bangldesh haven't done exceedingly well it's great to see the maturity with which we have played the current tests. If anything it's an indication of the importance of longer format cricket. No one takes us lightly anymore

Bangladesh needs to play more cricket, even it it's against Afghanistan.

The key here is not skill development but rather mentality.

If we can manage a win here and there it would give confidence in winning more such situations. Even if we fail then there is next time.

We are probably the most stylish batting line up around. In these days of sledge hammers, each & every BD player plays with lighter bat & very high back lift. Not much brutal in cut, but each & every one is artist while driving. Footwork against spin is also very good.

Probably, this is the contribution of Whatmore in BD Cricket. Most of his pupils in SRL & India are also fantastic drivers.

I think, one of his ENG innings in 2010 was better considering the relative attack. Also, here his partner is playing equally decent, but that was almost lone battle.

It's ok - he counter attacked the main bowlers when the game was on edge. A century would have been great but playing for century doesn't produce such innings. Viv had only about 35 International hundreds, because his career was full of such 60s and 70s when the game was in balance.

Yup it's a about context. Those 82 runs scored by Tamim was valuable as any of his centuries except the one against England last October

Nope. Could have been win in 2003 vs Pakistan if Latif wouldn't cheat. That was the closest to win in any away match of bd.

Really. After so many years u still can't believe it? It's his natural moronic game. Wait till shakib does the same.

Tamim is such a brilliant player. If only he had a bit of brain.

Now we need more matches home and away to gain confidence. We now need confidence to do well in test, technique and talent is there but just need confidence to fight every test team. Hope bd will be one of world beater within 5/6 years.

Bangladesh winning is great for the game. I hope this continues except against us of course. Tamim really needs to control his macho bullcrap. Tends to get so carried away sometimes.

2 possibilities exist: Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are terrifying.
