Only managed to get upto 327 cos of Hammads hitting at the end. He should've come in earlier and the openers should've atleast got the SRs upto a run a ball in the end.

Not bad. Would have wanted Hussain Talat to be sent in at 3.
Pakistan is that kid who never studies for his exams but is surprised when he fails.

Hamad scored 44 off just 15 balls lol
-

The openers did score 100s but at a slow pace. Especially imran butt went at snail's pace with a 102 off 132 balls. Thats not acceptable in today's age.

nice to see that Imam scored another 100 and that too with a better strike rate of 97, he's proving his talent day after day. Imran did well too but his strike rate was not that good.
Haris again proving he's not ready yet and needs a full domestic season.
Brilliant cameo in the end by Hammad though, this is exactly what we need in our limited overs side, someone who can score really quickly in the lower ordear and also be capable of finishing the run chase well.
Would have liked to see Khushdil get a chance in batting but he's bowling quite well so far.

We are going to have a collection of the best spinners the world has ever seen.

opposition is crap but it still shows he is one of the few players in Pakistan that can do this. At the very least he has the technique to hit big. Hope this continues, he can bat at 6 for Pakistan with his bowling considered a bonus.
yeah he is bigger hitter than haris and rizwan and should have been sent in earlier

name an alternative to bat at 6 ?
Khusdil and Talat are the only i can think of but both are more top order players
The issue that many have the pereception here that is one supports a player , they then must also think that player is great.
This about doing the best with what we have

The fact that Pakistan's average at best talent can completely obliterate a decent associate side like HK shows how much work the associates have to do. Not saying they can't get there, but they need more resources and first class cricket.
Not much to take away from this match, I'll be looking forward to the matches vs. Afghanistan, BD, and Sri Lanka.
I know we aren't happy with Haris's batting as of yet, but there are a few positives-he scored at 100 SR despite only one boundary, that shows he's willing to rotate strike and run between the wickets. Also, give him a little credit, Imam-ul-Haq was well-set and rotating strike to keep him going was the best thing he could have done.
I think he will be fine once he's fully recovered from his injuries, his mindset hasn't changed, so his skills should improve.

Imam-ul-Haq is another tuk tuk batsman that is coming through the ranks.
Why do we struggle to produce batsmen who can play at a good click???

Imran Butt sahab scored 108 at a SR of 80 against the mighty HK
It should be inculcated in our youth that your SR absolutely MUST reach 100-120 by the time you score a ton. Scoring a 108 of 132 balls doesn't really work in modern day cricket. Good effort by the youngster but this is simply not good enough for today's cricket. Needs to improve ASAP.
Same with Imam-ul Haq, his SR was slightly better but not ideal.
The innings needed Hammad and Rizwan fast cameos to reach a respectable total

Anshuman Rath, captain of Hong Kong seems a serious prospect. He is friends with my mate. He goes to Harrow school in London but is eligible to play for Hong Kong
