Ian Bishop chatting about Wahab Riaz's lack of progress

Interesting to listen to Bishop on commentary regarding Wahab Riaz and his lack of improvement in cricket.

Bishop specifically talking about technical aspects of his bowling and a lack of progress and how he doesn't think that at his age now he doesn't see how he can improve.

Yah he seemed disappointed and also taked about his poor wrist position.

As Afridi's fastest 100 was the worst thing for his career; Wahab's spell to Watson was the worst thing for him as well..

People still go on like he's still a youngster; he ain't one and has refused to alter his game to become a better bowler. There were games in the 2nd innings in ODI's where I used to dread him bowling because the opposition would get closer and closer to the target.

The concern is that it's probable that his best years are behind him.

He is a done case , should be dropped from the test squad as soon as possible. Hasan Ali should replace him.

As I said in the match thread, I've long ran out of patience with Wahab. He seems to have been given golden boy treatment because of his supposed "aggression" and Pakistan's long love affair with pace, but where are the wickets ?

Seems good for one decent spell every so often but I'd rather see us introduce a pacer with more consistency. You ain't gonna teach a 33 year old bowler new tricks, still there are problems with his wrist position and control.

I have been saying this for a long time Wahab is a time waste. He hasn't added anything to his bowling and he still carries those same issues that we have been talking about years. He is a lost cause. We should have been looking for new players.

Absolute madness that Wahab is going the Sami way but it looks to be the case.

He's limited and he hasn't improved.

But in this Test he just looks underdone. He hasn't bowled enough - actually ANY - recent First Class overs.

Wahab and aggression? are you serious? An aggressive fast bowler won't sheepishly smile back at a hack like Nurse smacking him out of the park. He's a nothing bowler.

There have been URDU requests from some fellows. There is alot of traffic of young cricketers who want some guidance. Sorry to International readers.

Wahab has over achieved in all forms of Cricket because of his terrible wrist position. Such wrist positions do not usually even make FC or List A level. He tried alot with many coaches but he could not sort the issue. Alas. Him not landing the ball on its seam is the main reason for his average Records while his effort, hardwork, energy and speeds have been A+ grade throughout.
