They are going for it now because once the ball gets older it will be tougher to score runs against the spin

    Zimb going well here, 71/0

WI's won yesterday, how many times have I said that Eid every Sunday now would be sweet if Zimb can pull this monumental series win, have always had a soft spot for these blokes and use to be a big fan of Heath Streak who also had a run at Warwickshire; he is the current coach of the Zimb team as well and commands a lot of respect in his country

Wow Lanka are really hot or cold these days. Some days they chase 300 without breaking a sweat, or score 200/0 and other days they falter against Zimbabwe.

SL captaincy is in shambles. The problem with Angelo is that inspite of having great cricketing acumen he is always nursing an injury and is not with the team consistently and because of that he is not able to command things the way he would've liked it.
Apart from him Tharanga is a decent guy but with his limited skills he is not really a major tournament or a tough series captain. Now that makes the stakes of another guy Chandimal higher who is a good talent as we all know but often fails to finish the match inspite of scoring well against tough oppositions and selectors for that reasons at think still don't trust him completely even though he is better than Tharanga and is quite a fit guy. By all means he is the best bet for SL at the moment but Angelo needs to resign on his own and fully support Chandimal for his nation's sake and Tharanga should be made his deputy. I think that's the best way forward for SL cricket.

Upul Tharanga ? If they want to go with a younger option, maybe Kusal Mendis or Dickwella.

Chandimal doesn't seem like a bad option. Tharanga is 32 I don't see a point in giving him the capatincy.

Chandimal. Don't think Tharanga, at this age should be invested. Few years back, in middle of the tournament, they made Malinga captain & won T20 WC.

May be Dikwella or any of those 2 Mendis guy as deputy. Also, they need to fix the coaching staff as well. Ford was a fantastic choice, but the left probably from disgust. SRL has done admirably under Aussie coaches - may be Moody or Langer or Siddons can do the job, which includes grooming the new captain as well.

Dickwella could be a great option as captain.

WK captain have succeeded in the past. Like Dhoni and now Sarfraz.

He is also an attacking player so that should be shown in his captaincy.

Attacking captains are very effective with young teams because they let the team play with fearlessness and freedom.

Also, Dickwella is young, so he has a bright future and can be a great captain for SL.

Last chance for Dhoni to show his worth in this upcoming series, or else taataa to him and Yuvi.

Dickwella still hasn't figured out what to do with himself and you think he should be made a captain. Is being young the only qualification that's needed?A teenies thought process. He is still trying to understand what international cricket is all about and is too far away from knowing the nuances of leadership. He still has to go through a process to become a leader in future. You make him the captain now and SL will soon be a sort of Scotland.

Don't think so. Only if your selectors weren't as bad as they are, I can guarantee you that Sri Lanka would've been a top 3 ODI side. What is even the logic behind playing 2-3 new spin bowling all rounders each and every series?!

Yes that's true. And what is surprising to me is that Jayasuriya who played the most ODIs for them is taking all the rubbish decisions.
