"It was easy to concentrate on the game once we walked out onto the field" : Faf du Plessis

World XI captain spoke on TV after his sides lost the opening match of the 3 match series:

"Pakistan played very well, we thought they had 20 runs too many at the halfway stage, it was a 180 wicket"

"Our bowling attack was possibly a bit one-dimensional while they had a lot of variety"

"They had some big partnerships, we got starts but couldn't carry on"

"It was easy to concentrate on the game; it's a great occasion to play here but once we walked out onto the field it was like a normal game of cricket"

"I needed to kick on and get a 50-60 and win the game for the team"

"We need a quick turnaround and need to make sure we rest up and come and try to level the series tomorrow"

"It's great to play in front of the Pakistan crowd, hopefully in the next two games we can get a full house so that it gets nice and loud"
