Quite impressed with this new stadium at Jamtha, I have heard it has top-class facilities. Smaller centers like Nagpur should be encouraged even more. They appreciate it -- for example today seems to be sold out from the looks of it. Some of the earlier games at bigger centers were not sold out.

I grew up in Nagpur region. Watched my first international game at the VCA grounds. Facilities were terrible then. Our "stand" was made up of red soil, no real seating facility. LOL.

India now has world's best cricket stadiums across many of its cities.

Rahane may win the man of the series. Even thoughlot of fans don't want him in the side, he cannot be dropped now. New headache now. He has some obvious inadequacies in one dayers. It can hurt us any time.

4th consecutive 50 by Rahane. Not sure if it is a good thing or bad. It is good on the outset. But once Dhawan is back just to include Rahane he will be forced to bat at 4 which could hurt India.

Beating the Australians is always a pleasure .... but not this Australian Team. They are a relatively WEAKER Team than the Power Houses of the past. With Two real pacers missing, being saved for the Ashes, it was not much of contest. Yet it goes in the books as 4-1 for the Indians ..... and that is the way it is !!!!!

They would have done zilch with their poor batting and spin options.

DY Patil stadium is in navi mumbai. I stay nearby.
The problem is lack of 5 star hotel nearby. I heard players complained during IPL that they had to travel from mumbai proper to DY for practice sessions and it takes about 1˝ hours.

India are a great side but...

Australia are so poor atm, it's actually surprising it wasn't a whitewash.

The lack of quality bowlers is truly mind-boggling. Barring one or two decent options, the rest are average. The middle order is the worst I've witnessed since I've started watching cricket. And this isn't a one-off either as it's been the same for a few years.

I knew it is in Navi-Mumbai but never knew it lacked 5 star hotels. Why can't these players stay in 3 or 4 star hotels ? Stadium is being wasted.

Their bowling is not the problem. They bowled well this series and have a lot of options (Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins, Coulter-nile etc).
