Hopefully, when I get up we see either a Pakistan win or Pakistan closing in on a win

The first session will be key, heck even the first hour of play will be vital. Need a couple of wickets then.

Get Dickwella out cheaply and we're into the tail, with a great chance of forcing a result.

Pakistan not only needs to get these remaining wickets quickly, but also keep the runs down . . SOmeone like dickwella can be really dangerous . . Pakistan doesn't want to be chasing much more than 130 140ish . . We all know our ability to destruct in the 4th innings . .

'Lack of pace is a disadvantage for Abbas' makes no more sense than 'bad technique is a disadvantage for Steven Smith.' If someone is putting up the numbers they are putting up the numbers. Abbas has been been superb, bowling on the flattest of pitches in the Windies and UAE. Deserves a long run. And to no surprise he was overdue for selection, held back, inter alia, by those strapping pacers Rahat Ali and Wahab Riaz. The ease with which the PCB continues to disregard actual performance continues to do untold damage to Pakistani cricket.

I agree but i still think lack of pace is a bit of a disadvantage. Just imagine him bowling at 140kp or even late 130s. Most certainly would have had more venom. But his bowling style is working for him and he has earned his place.

Just imagine Tendulkar having the blasting power of Viv Richards. Was "lack of muscles" a disadvantage for Sachin? Yes who wouldnt want a bowler as fast as Akthar, as wily as Asif, as relentless as McGrath. But.

For once Ramiz making sense. No need to spread the field and giving singles to Dickwella when the ball is spinning so much. It'll be difficult to hit anyways when there is so much spin on offer.

We should not be giving any easy singles away here.. dickwella could cause some serious damage or even Get SL up to a tricky total here.

We cant let SL get a lead of 150.

Pakistan are getting on the backfoot. They gave Lankans a chance to get back in the game :/

Firstly you are comparing apples to oranges. Bowlers have different skill sets altogether.

Secondly, am i missing something here? Ofcourse tendulkar was at a disadvantage because of lack of muscles.

Not sure why you think lack of pace is not a disadvantage for a "pace" bowler. I am not saying he is a bad bowler, just saying he would have been even better if he had more pace.

Poor captaincy from sarfraz , gave too many gaps to dickwela.

It is either a heartache or a headache ..Argh relationships.

Not liking the captaincy from Sarfaraz for this phase but Rameez just gets ultra critical. Its extremely annoying.

Lead up towards 130 now . . this is becoming a tricky chase for Pakistan. If they are able to get 30 40 more runs, then I don't think Pakistan has the firepower to chase.
