If I were in SL dressing room this would have been my pep talk:

"guys cheer up! no worries our fav player is back!

Just get Fakhar and Babar out cheaply while making sure Shehzad gets most of the strike. I repeat, it's crucial Shehzad should get most of the strike.

    we got this!"

God this LOI leg has been terrible.

Swear SL have batted first every match and put up a rubbish total every time.

The aim should be to win the match as soon as possible, there's two more matches in the next three days and a flight to Lahore sandwiched between.

Boys need rest So win toss and bowl.

Pakistan should try to chase this down quickly to at least provide some entertainment for fans.

I remember when we use to roll sides for low totals and then chase it down within 8-12 overs with McCullum and Ryder/Guptill.

Fakhar Zaman is a quality player who will score a heap of runs in NZ. Look at Babar struggling on this wicket.

These wickets are slow and bad for free flowing batsmen like Fakhar and Babar.

Yeah that happened a grand total of two times

Can't believe people are calling Fakhar a hack. The important thing is, he's come good in every single match that we needed him to. Hen the team is winning, you back him to take risks and not change his game according to the situation.

Yeah but we have Shehzad instead of McCullum which is a slight downgrade.

The answer to Pakistan's biggest dilema (Ahmad Shahzad) got bowled out by the 5th choice Sri Lanka Bowler as if he were a tailender. Not every day is a sunday,

How do they expect a debutante to walk in and fix our batting which struggled to even reach 200 in the last match? The definition of insanity by Einstein comes to mind.

Yet we still have posters like @Markhor who think Mickey is the best thing to happen to Pakistan cricket since the 92 WC.

Good that you brought that post up. If you cared to read the context I had said that Fakhar should have been played in the warm ups before the CT and not debut DURING the Champion's Trophy as it turned out.

Good try. Not good enough. Next.
