I asked Star Sports on Twitter, and they said only the final will be broadcasted on the 19th.

Are they going to play on synthetic turf?!?!

In that case, Malaysia shouldn’t host any such tournaments and I would have been more happy had BCB pulled out of it.

The 2012 under 19 Asia Cup was held in Malaysia and the tournament was really good, the pitches were good, the outfield was good aswell

If it’s natural grass wicket, no issues - we can beat that rain. But, after 30 years in ICC, if still cricket is played on synthetic wickets, Malaysia shouldn’t host such tournaments- in one of the pictures, batsman as batting on synthetic mat, on concrete - this is worst thing for junior batsmen.

Pretty sure they usually have proper pitches in Malaysia. Maybe it’s just the nets that have these synthetic surfaces

You the Pakistanis speak of your high class young talents much more than us.So then you are not supposed to loose against a minnow. Bangladesh won the only ODI series played at home against Afganistan. So the word thrashed seems to be nonsense

This is a Pakistani forum. You will obviously hear more proclamations about Pakistani talent here than Bangladeshi ones. However, even comparatively speaking, Bangladeshi supporters tend to lose their cool when their team wins against a higher ranked team instead of enjoying the win with dignity.

The only talent Pakistan has is to make sure that the senior team does not lose to Afghanistan.

Really disappointed with this performance by our team. If Afghan bros humiliate us like this what will happen against India and Bangladesh or overseas tours in Australia, England or South Africa. We will be all out under 20 runs or even less.
This kind of thing happen when nobody care about our domestic system selecting players by merit, pitch or facilities and select players base on their connection. Simply pathetic!!!!

Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in Bangladesh recently winning 4 - 1 or something although 57 all out is something else.

Afghanistan are probably the best Asian U19 side at the moment along with India and are contenders for winning the World Cup. Just hope their players are all of the stated age.

Their captain has a menacing look. Looks like a proper athlete.

We too were all out less than 100 twice in that series ;)

These Afghans are really talented bowlers, wow. Kudos to them.

This isn't a combat sport. The offspinner who took 6 wickets would't have improved much by being older by a year or two. The fault lies with Pakistan not playing any games in advance of the event. Even Nepal U19s played a series with Bangladesh.

Mujeeb is nothing special. Our batsmen are just mediocre. Same way we gave 6 wickets to Markas North of Australia.

Shaheen Shah hasn't really fired yet. Perhaps we on this forum have rated him too highly, and he shouldn't be fast-tracked into the national team, but he should play first-class cricket.

Honestly, if it was me, he'd play some first-class cricket in Pakistan, which he has, albeit not every game, play in the BPL, which he is going to, play in the U19 Tournament, which he is currently doing, play in the PSL, and even then, I would want him to play a full first-class season, whether that be in Pakistan or England, before even thinking about national team selection.

Looks like SL have a very strong team. They blew away UAE and now beaten Afghanis.

Maybe Pakistan were unlucky they lost the toss against AFG. Pakistan’s best chance against SL could be bowling first tomorrow?
