Umm no, not at all. He's a harder hitter and was great playing against pace and he mostly scored through risky aerial shots. Great batsmen don't need to use the aerial route much and are able to score along the ground with much less risky play.

    Sharjeel was basically Maxwell.

I would agree the Sharjeel was a great example of batsmanship however, both are differently important to the team. And I think I would take Fakhar because he has nerves of steel is is still good after 50 deliveries as he was at the start.

166 after 30 overs... its too bad Pakistan don't have wickets in hand because its a very chase able score from this position.

Said before the series that Fakhar will do well and here he is. It's been a fine knock.

Sharjeel>Fakhar against quality pace bowling attacks.

If it's rained out, that will save NZ.

Pakistan were looking lethal out there.

I don't think Fakhar was going anywhere and the run rate was in control.

Yeah...I mean while Indians are debating to see if Pandya is good enough for tests despite having a test 100 and a man of the series against Australia, some of the Pakistani posters want one of these players to be the next Pandya so bad

I wonder how they would feel if Dhoni(the current version) was Pakistani the way they some of them are defending Sarfaraz..Pretty sure Dhoni on his last legs has way more of an upside than Sarfaraz as a cricketer
