I hope so, we should be quite confident after that recovery.

Wasn't there some statistic about us consistently restricting oppositions to under 240..

We need to take early wickets. If Munro and Guptill are there for more than 5 overs the game is only heading one way.

NZ’s game to lose. But you can never rule out Pak’s bowling. So hoping for a good contest with Pakistan winning of course.

Below par score but the momentum is with Pakistan. We need two bowlers to perform as the Hasan and Shadab did with the ball. It may well be them two.

It wont be easy for NZ, this is for sure.

246/9 is a good total, just wish we took Danny Morrison on a bit more, but good job on denting Dipak Patel's figures. Just have to get Martin Crowe out early, but that's what Wasim is for.

He isn't comfortable in controlling the new ball - is instructed to sacrifice pace to keep it at spot. In his 2nd spell I expect him to reach 140k.

Wahab in spite of brainless bowling can be more potent than this guy. Maybe he does well in patches. But is he Pakistan's long term solution

Nowadays, the pace attack has to be able to consistantly operate at 140+ kph. England had only 1 baller that could ball that pace, and they got smashed. Rumman needs to get his pace back or go home.

I guess the end from which Raees and Faheem are bowling is against the wind and Amir is bowling with the wind.

Bowling against the wind makes hell of a difference. And that os one of the things to consider in NZ.

But what if you don't lose the wicket too early, and instead the openers do tuk-tuk before getting out and then your #3 bats like a #11 with Hafeez the next batsman?

Now that's an impossible scenario to deal with.
