does anyone notice sarfraz doesnt have habit of breaking the stumps i know shoaib malik would've easily made this time but we saw plenty of times that sarfraz doesnt care breaking stumps when throw comes in but he is busy staring at bowlers. plenty of times he missed easy runouts b3cause of he is more interested in giving bowlers and fielders look

Sometimes he looks like a chubby kid who got his toys taken away from him. He has only his cricketing brain working for him now. Been an absolute dud with the bat in the last 2 years. He is actually decent at #5 but chooses to accommodate that spot for oldies Malik and Hafeez.

300+ matches and 19 years and counting of international cricketing experience. Surely he can score a 50 on a flat wicket in the desert against mediocre bowling. Top stuff at 35+.

Can you imagine if he debuted at 21-22? Guy could have taken 300 Test and 350 ODI wickets. But apparently some thought that a 7ft 1 inch bowler wasn’t cut out for international cricket.

AUS kicked out Dizzy after he took 10 wickets and scored a 200* in his final match because he was on the wrong side of 30.

The big scores are against WI and SL. Lets not drag the conversation about someone who should be warming the bench. Malik and Hafeez been trolling pak cricket for a very long time. I would take failures of youngsters in consecutive series rather than seeing these players.

Highly unlikely. It’s the same old cliche’ of “ he’s the best we’ve got”. I guarantee that if Shehzad had not failed against IND in the CT opener, FZ would have rotted in the team for years to come. On the AUS note, their standards were high and that is why they were able to maintain a consistently dominant position in the rankings for so long. If you lower your standards to the likes of a 35+ Malik and Hafeez, even if you meet your desired results, they are not worth repeating in front of others. Like a 42 year old Misbah leading PAK to a 5-0 against NZ and AUS.

Danny - Aussies in the middle of it, no surprise.

Never rated this pathetic Pollard. Should go and live his life in IPL.

A team full of inexperienced young players doesn’t guarantee success in the long run. Never forget what happened to Bangladesh. I don’t know man but Malik always had that extra gear which Hafeez just doesn’t have. Maybe you’re right he’s too old to be persisted with.

It’s always good to have 3-5 senior players in the side. Malik can go boom but only against spin. That’s his biggest weakness and strength. He looks to play out the fast bowlers with dabs to third man and than bash the spinners. In the next WC in AUS, he won’t get away with it.
