Interesting looking table there, qalanders may still have a chance but its mostly going to be a fight between kings and Zalmi for forth spot.

I think MS will finish at the top and the top 4 right now will remain in the top 4 but in different order.

    1: MS
    2: IU
    3: KK
    4: QG

Karachi is pretty much through as well. Unless they get battered by PZ and get a worse NRR than Multan.

So it's either PZ or MS for the last spot. PZ need to win everything incl. the game against KK.

Nah, I think KK is through for sure, because before NRR, it will come down to head-to-head between Karachi and Multan, where Karachi leads it 1-0.

Unfortunately, Lahore is out of the tournament. Mathematically, they cannot make the final 4 in any way whatsoever. The most saddening part is that Shaheen Shah would miss these playoffs as he is one of the most exciting talents from this season's PSL.

    done as dinner...

for their own good, hopefully next yr they get a new coach, drop UA, gulraiz sadaf, ramdin, sohail khan... and pick up ideally a good replacement for aqib and ramdin, select a rohail nazir type youngster wk who wont get a chance where they r now due to depth of his team, and somebody like mukhtar ahmad or nouman anwar to see if there is anything to salvage out of those guys... and give that kid a chance who could bowl fast with both hands... lahore u aint winning nothing, y not indirectly be the breading center for pcb

So, there is still the possibility that Zalmi can finish second with a good net run rate, assuming quetta and karachi lose their remaining matches. But first we must win 2 out of 2 and get through!

I really want them to progress instead of Quetta dont like their team, i really Like Multan After Lahore. PSL is boring without Lahore.

Indeed, and the loser of the qualifier between team 1 and 2 gets a second chance to make the final by playing the winner of the eliminator (team 3 vs team 4).

@Abdullah719 @Syed1 @Gotham Cronie if Karachi and Multan are both tied on 9 points after tomorrow, would it not go down to head-to-head rather than NRR? IIRC, that's how it was in the previous seasons.

No I think in this season NRR has precedence - atleast that is what the commies seem to be saying

First KK and MS match was rained out. Second one KK won. As per the usual template the win should be counted before the NRR.

From what I understand there are these scenarios (correct me if I'm wrong):

    1. KK win last game, Peshwar lose. Karachi and Multan progress
    2. Peshwar win last game, KK lose. Peshwar progress (and one of Multan and Karachi depending on NRR which will be very close)
    3. Both KK and Peshwar win. Both KK and Peshwar progress, Multan are out.
    4. Both KK and Peshwar lose. KK and Multan progress.

Technically Karachi has the best chance out of the three. Unfortunately for them, they're playing Islamabad the top team though. So I wouldn't bet on it, and I can see a lot of people predicting them to go out, they don't even have their captain anymore.

Personally though kind of feel both Peshwar and Karachi will lose their last games. Lahore have been on a winning streak lately with nothing to lose, and I predict they'll beat Peshwar. Sammy's basically kept PZ in contention with his heroics (with him being injured too).

So going with PZ and Lahore going out. Unless Sammy can strike a miracle yet again.

I personally don't think that's a problem. Imad was a dud with the ball and Morgan has more chances of coming good with the bat. Till they have to travel at least.
