Which means we're ahead, maybe not that much but ahead. I know that being a Pakistan fan leaves you with a mild form of PTSD where all you can think of are things like Sydney 2010, Hobart 1999 etc but we're still ahead.

Leads are always a bonus, and this England team can clearly be beaten. WI beat them in a Test last year with a weaker bowling lineup.

We can either go in a shell and let Anderson and Broad run through us, or we can designate Shadab/Fahim to take the attack to them and smash a few and raise the lead in quick time

You can imagine Hasan Ali coming in and smacking the ball for a quickfire 20 off 15 or something. It all really does depend on these two as these are the most technically sound of the batsmen we got left. If they can push the lead to 100, then anything else is a bonus.

I think we need to play sensible as well as scoring. No point all guns blazing. Nervous times need another 100 here and we can breathe

They need to bat the way they have batted so far. Although I suspect we will lose some wickets or have a higher run rate because the two all rounders playing style is positive.

In case you haven't noticed we don't have alot of batting remaining. If Azhar/Haris/Asad were batting I would have recommended caution, but Shadab and Fahim won't last long if they intend on playing out Anderson/Broad

Great Test match. If Babar can survive this 2nd ball to get a 100, he'll add at least 23-25 more in Test career (Provided that PCB doesn't convert every PAK Series in to 1/2 Tests affair).

If Babar can somehow negotiate the new ball then the lead of 120+ is still on. Shadab, Faheem and the rest can add 60 I feel if Babar is there. If he goes then it's hard to predict what will happen.

A batting lineup with your Captain at 6 ...... then, his pankha (fan) group boasts about his cricket intelligence !!!!!!

If Poms are deliberately preserving him for oldish ball, means wicket is dry and Shadab can come into play. Otherwise, no reason to rest him now - Stokes isn't a new ball English seemer.

Shabba Babar stay in there champ!

Real disappointed in Sarfraz man. Can't get over that shot.

If Babar stays in, we will get a 150+ lead though iA.

    On the bright side,

At least Babar can get his Test average to 50.

I doubt it, he seems to be in a lot of pain.

Which means, it was a blunder to drop Woakes in UK Tests. What Root is trying that, he wants one of his English length seemer at one end, after Berbi is done with his spell. These two are 35+ now and can't bowl 55 overs out of first 100. If Shadab & Babar are a bit lucky, with in an hour, both & Fahim can get away with spanking Stokes & Woods.

Okay, on a serious note Pakistan now have a chance to score quick runs with Shadal and Faheem at the crease
