    Senior and experienced players:

    First innings: failure
    Second innings: failure

Young and inexperienced newbies on their first tour to England:

    First innings: failure
Second innings: grinding it out and showing some back bone and resistance.

Hmm perhaps we shouldn't take failures for granted. Perhaps some people are just unable to learn from their shortcomings while others are quick learners.

    Not only them.

You come to a new country, bowl first and win the 1st Test by 9 wickets. Next week, win toss and decide to test your batting strength on a Day 1 Leeds wicket - now facing innings defeat. What did Arthur or Sarfraz learn in 35 years of combined experience?

Time for Sarfraz to lead the team and avoid a trashing defeat.

This Pakistani batting looks similar to Bangladesh. Can't convert start to big one. This is very important in test cricket.

He just got done by the arm ball, it happens. One bad judgement doesn't mean he can't play spin.

Need a captains knock, and Usman to carry on as he is. These two need to pile on 100+ if we have ANY chance to win this or even draw this. Sarfraz will play his shots, 80 overs until new ball, so he has plenty of time to play his shots. Just think about preserving your wicket ***.

Won't happen ever, playing these 60 overs QeA style on those wickets.

PAK comfortably had 4/5 best ever players of spin - Hanif, Zaheer, Javed, Salim Malik, Saeed, YK, Asif Iqbal ..... and this one quality is not from playing in Counties. Now, Sarfraz is reputed best spin player and probably not much far from truth after watching Babar, Hari, Imam .....
