On the bright side, our net run rate hasn't taken too much of a bashing looking ahead to the rest of the tournament.
Wait a second? There's only one more game? It's a bilateral series? What!?

Dhoni played a good test knock today. Misbah would be proud..
Just shows that no matter how strong the batting of the opposition (India, Australia), you can still put them under pressure (by taking early wickets) if you have runs on the board. Pakistan did the same in CT Final last year.
Not a very good batting display by India. They never even looked like getting this total. The wicket wasn't difficult to bat on (it is a sunny day) and with relatively shorter boundaries at Lords they should have done better

No need for media to relay this info.
Required Run Rate
522.0
India nearly save being bowled out, not a bad effort in the end.

Indian fans at Lords must have felt cheated by this performance.
Taking time off and paying too money but only then to seeing such a drab ending must have felt ripped off.
Win or lose fight it out till the end. The last 15 overs was nothing but net practice.

That shows the wicket slowed down considerably, poor effort yes but surely wicket has slowed down considerably as well none of the batter looked comfortable even after reaching 30 odd

Was that SF against Us back in 2011 WC? - I have not noticed at the time that we did not give away a single 6 in entire innings

BCCI will put pressure on ECB to prepare a flat pitch.

The ECB does not prepare pitches. County-employed groundsmen do.
