Will Unai Emery succeed as manager of Arsenal?

It's been a tough start for him as the Gunners have been defeated in their first two games, but both matches have been against strong sides and Arsenal fought pretty well against Chelsea.

Do you think he has the ability to turn Arsenal into genuine title contenders?

He will need at least 3 season to get rid of the mess and some of the deadwood wenger has left, add to that an owner who is not willing to put his own money into club for transfers. No short term fixes here at Arsenal.

    This is a difficult one.

I would vote yes only if the owner supports him in the transfer market.
We are short of three marque players, two in defense and one in the midfield.

If he doesn't get the support, we will struggle for top 4 let alone winning the league.

The owner hasnt put any of his own money into the club at any point, all hes doing is taking money out and putting it into his U.S franchises.

Emery will have to do miracles will any sponsorship money deals etc.. when it comes to transfer fees to spend.

Thank you. You've helped me make my decision.

I will vote "NO" but of course hope for a miracle.

I think yes but he is not going to give a top 4 position this year. At least requires 2 years to stabilize the team and clean the mess

He needs investment too, big investment.
Is this owner going to provide it?

Arsenal wont challenge for top 4 for at least another 2 seasons, if we win a trophy in mean time that would be a positive.

Defence is still a huge issue, we need to new New full backs long term, another CB, Also Ozil needs to be replaced and also need atleast 2 decent wingers. It will take a few transfer windows to fix wengers mess.

Will easily get top 4. Looks like Spurs will implode and we all know what happens in Mourinho's third season.

7 wins on the bounce. Has recovered superbly following the 2 opening defeats against City and Chelsea.

    Fantastic start for him.

1-0 win tonight and that's 12 wins in a row.

Arsenal were average tonight but seem to have winning bug.

He's a good manager who likes to play attractive football.

The big test is against Liverpool coming up soon. If Arsenal manage to beat LFC at home in the league, they are top 4 contenders for sure.

He’s doing brilliantly at the moment.
Big tests to come in November and December but whatever the outcome this was always going to be about a change in direction which means if we win something then great otherwise it’s all about his second if not third season in charge.
