50 Tests, 2500 runs at 32+ with 5 hundreds and 133 wickets at 40 with 9 innings of 4 or more wickets and a 10 for ... that's handy in any consideration.

    Moeen got three wickets?

So Indians can't bat against swing, can't bat against bouncy deliveries and can't bat against spin either.

    What can they do?

Indian batting in overseas condition is on par with Bangladesh, Srilanka and WI.

He won't do any dodo with ball in AUS. If they really want 5 bowlers, best tactics is to play 3 pacers including BK for his batting, Ashwin who can bat and a traditional Leg spinner. These days spin playing quality is such that a good leg spinner like Mishra or Chahal will trouble Aussie batsmen more than Pandeya at his fastest.

It was a stupidity of highest order for ENG selectors to drop Moeen against IND, after last series and last year, when he was MoS against SAF. In fact, instead of this guy Root, ENG should appoint Moeen as Captain and allow Root to focus on batting.

If our batting can play Moeen, how in the world can yours not, even with pressure?
    Some things cant be explained.

Ishant playing Moeen like a pro.

This is why i dont rate that idiot's batting.
He was one batsman who could have stayed with Pujara and India would have easily gotten the lead. But he decided to play a pathetic shot.

What's your opinion on Pant? You were very keen to see him play for India.

Even as a Pakistani, I can see he's been better than the disasterclass of Karthik

If these 2 can get India to 225, I ll consider it a massively successful partnership. For that ishu ll have to score 15 of those 25 runs as Pujara can't.

Actually, there is a thick line between Test batting and LO batting on belters and 60 metre grounds. But, surprising that Pant has a FC stats like 55/90 for almost 2K runs!!!

A hundred for Pujara would mean India are still there in the game.

England batting clicks once per series. If it happens in the second innings, India loses the series.

From this position it's England's match to loose. India has lost a golden opportunity here.
