The 16 new contestants who are fighting it out to get Lord Sugar’s investments have been announced today.

But who will win, who will get Karren Brady and Claude Littner’s approval, and who will be fired?

Who are The Apprentice 2018 contestants?

    Alex Finn

Alex is a 21-year-old IT analyst from The Wirral who previously invented a machine to coat biscuits with chocolate with his grandad and who claims to, “know everything. Call me ‘Google’...it’s my middle name.”

    Camilla Ainsworth

Camilla is the 22-year-old owner of a nut milk brand from Lancashire who calls herself a “bundle of energy and creativity” who is far from a “vanilla Camilla”.

    Daniel Elahi

Daniel is 28 years old Londoner who owns a lifestyle brand and claims to be “blessed with beauty and brains in abundance".

    David Alden

    Jackie Fast

A London-based sponsorship consultant and author, 34-year-old Jackie says she’s “not intimidated by anybody, or anything”.

    Jasmine Kundra

    Kayode Damali

Kayode is a 26-year-old professional speaker from Cheshire who is “not here to razzle dazzle and hit you with buzzwords like ‘I’m so motivated, passionate’…anyone can say those things and I’m not anyone, I’m Kayode Damali.”

    Khadija Kalifa

A 28-year-old owner of an eco-cleaning company from Lincolnshire who describes herself as, “a serious ‘Mumpreneur’ who doesn’t have time for time-wasters and idiocy.”

    Sabrina Stocker

An entrepreneur since the age of 2014, 22-year-old tennis events company owner Sabrina Stocker from Middlesex describes herself as “Willy Wonka drinking an espresso martini… classy and sophisticated on the outside; inside, a little bit crazy and wacky but full of brilliant ideas.”

    Sarah Byrne

Sarah is 29 and is the owner of a children’s acting academy in Manchester who says: “I am me, I don’t have a posh accent or pretend to be anyone else.”

    Sarah Ann Magson

    Mixture of potential and hopeless.

The girl who was fired last week just wanted to argue and be heard all the time. Had to go!

Have to say I missed last year completely because I was bored of the format and had other things to do but this series i'm back on it and i'm hooked now. It's great to see some of them go on a journey or others crash and burn no matter how contrived the narratives are by the editors.

Usual over confident people hoping the conquer the world yet failing the simplest tasks. Even the winner mostly remains with Sugar for a few months before moving on. I believe this is the last series.

Yes I have watched both episodes.

So far seems like there will be potential but some also a lot of stupidity from candidates in the series.

I know how heavily edited, silly and contrived it all is - but 2 episodes in and I am completely hooked! Can’t deny how entertaining it is to watch.

I think they've dropped any pretence of it being a business competition and it's just wannabe models/actors/Big Brother z-list rejects etc now and they play on the drama/acting up rather than any real business lessons.

The guy who was fired this weak was awful.

    Emotional and panicked under pressure.

Looked like he was going to cry all the time.

Probably the worst season when it comes to any business sense...but by God is it funny. Kurran may be the weirdest, lowest IQ contestant in history.
