Our captain bottled it getting out the same way. Then we have had to brainsless slogs by Hasan and Ali who could handle the pressure

Azhar ali does not have enough shots to manipulate the field. You just need to have a decent field placement to tie him down. Compare this with other top batsmen of the world who can take singles at will.

It's Sarfraz and other's fault. Azhar is the least at fault, only trying to win.

Please clarify this first. You are saying Azhar is bottling this chase like some of the other "top" batsmen?

Secondly, it is a proven fact that Azhar does not have all the shots in the book and you can restrict his scoring shots.

Azhar fans are throwing a tantrum, but they are missing the point. No top batsman would handle the last few overs the way he has.

So far, he is simply hanging around to get Abbas out. It appears that he does not have the confidence to back himself and finish the game with a couple of blows, even though he has 120 deliveries under his belt.

People can whine all they want by giving examples of vastly superior batsmen choking, but it doesn’t change the fact that Azhar is not half the batsman those players and is not a match-winner by any means.

He needs to take control now and not crap his pants.

I agree , the more he delays the more there is a chance that one of them gets out.

Anyone would be nervous in a situation like this. Azhar IS nervous, no two ways about it, but we should be giving him credit that like the others he hasn't taken the easy way out of going for a mindless slog. That's what the other team would want. The longer they stay there the greater their chances. Criticizing Azhar in this situation is utter foolishness.

Absolutely. Own it whether it's a win or a lose
