Don't see us ascending from 7th/6th in the near future. 5-0 in England and South Africa awaits us, we will be lucky to even draw one match.
Rizwan has been in some unreal form for Pakistan A. Showing why he played for Pak on the basis of his batting ability alone.

He is a middle order batsman who isnt the biggest hitter around so playing him 4 down or 5 down isnt gonna help anyone.

Plus he is one of the best fielders around and a good keeper as well if required.

The way Rizwan is using his part timers, definitely showing some good leadership skills.

You dont drop A youngster after one match where he did not get a proper chance to bat,At least first give him a chance .

I'm not watching the match, but the bowling has been very poor. Especially for a side with a bowler who has bowled in 56 different international innings!(Rahat Ali). I'm looking through the list and there's a lack of fast bowling talent in the bowling lineup.

Inzimam needs a kick up the backside because his A team selections have been pathetic. We should be playing young talent in the A team and leaving 34 year olds like Zohaib Khan at home. Ridiculous stuff!

England Lions put in a much improved performance to win the second 'ODI' in Dubai against Pakistan A.

The hosts had won the first game by 187 runs and after winning the toss and once again electing to bat first the Lions could have been forgiven for expecting the worst.

But the bowlers found their lengths, bowled with good discipline and maintained control despite Pakistan A again putting together a strong partnership. Mohammad Saad made 117 as they set the Lions 290 to win.

There were three wickets for Saqib Mahmood, two for Jamie Overton and one apiece for captain Lewis Gregory and the very economical Danny Briggs.

A controlled and consummate run chase followed with Alex Davies (76) - who was voted Player of the Match - and Sam Hain (69) the stand-out performers.

The third 50-over match of the series will take place in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

November 29: Third 50-over match v Pakistan A, Abu Dhabi

December 2: Fourth 50-over match v Pakistan A, Abu Dhabi

    December 5: Fifth 50-over match v Pakistan A, Dubai

    December 7: First T20 v Pakistan A, Abu Dhabi

    December 8: Second T20 v Pakistan A, Abu Dhabi
