He bats exactly like Reeza.

He was always promising and in his first T20 international game he showed just that why he's an exciting player to watch.

Looks good. I think South Africa should test him versus Sri Lanka in the ODIs to see if he they can take him to the WC.

Seems like another good top order batsman for South Africa.
Should be tested in ODIs next.

Fantastic batting today. It was only street bowler Rauf after all but still the way Janneman owned him was impressive.

He's good enough to bat at 3 in the test team instead of van der dussen.
-

Special player. One of the finest talents from South Africa over the last 10-15.
Will be one of the best batsmen of his generation.

Not really, he's a journeyman cricketer that has languished in South African domestic cricket for too long. To be fair, I like him in the white ball formats and he should have been given a consistent chance in the ODI side 4-5 years ago. But he's not a test number 3 by any stretch of the imagination.

Needs to improve against spin but he will be a terrifc player for SA.

South Africa need to include him in the test and ODI team. He is going to be a top class player.

Funny how 3 ordinary balls from Haris Rauf can make you look like the reincarnation of AB De Villiers (said 3 because the 2nd ball was a genuinely brilliant bouncer and exceptionally well executed)
Full credit to Micky Arthur for realizing Babar Azam was born to bat at 3 in all formats.

Also... can you imagine the desk uncle pronounciation of his first name? Jann-e-Mann!

Seems like the same comments pop up every time this janneman plays, he then disappears for a few years then pops back up as the next abd when SA need to put out a B team, nothing special.

Seems like a quality prospect.

Will surely replace De Kock in the 3rd ODI. Got a brilliant century vs Australia last year.
Excited to see how he does. He is also in the T20 squad.

He should really be batting in the top 3 for South Africa in tests, he's too talented to be pigeonholed as a white ball specialist. With du Plessis's retirement there's a vacancy in the batting order as well.

First time I've seen him live today.
Looks a composed batsman. Played some beautifully timed shots through off and legside, looked good on front and backfoot, and rotated strike well against the spinners. It was a belter of a pitch yes, but definitely a bright prospect.

Janneman is one of the exciting young prospects for South Africa, showed a lot of promise today, along with Verreynne and probably Hamza they can form a very strong South African Middle order for the future.

Excellent player. Could go down as one of South Africa’s finest ODI opener along with de Kock, Kirsten and Gibbs.
He should already be part of their first-choice XI and not be used as a backup.

He's a quality stroke-maker. Some of his boundaries were just sublime to watch, all class and technique.
