Shehzad at the 1-down role "leading" his team to victory through a rather weird knock.

With the way shehzad was playing, the answer is a resounding - YES!

If that was the case, then after dismissal of Umar Akmal, how quetta won the match without slog shots?

Because shehzad actually got a move on in the 19th over and hit 2 boundaries, which yielded 11 runs off that over.

Did you even watch the game?

    I highly doubt you did.

I did watch the match but I doubt your game reading sense.

Shehzad hit boundaries on the 2nd and last ball of the 19th over. Quetta made 12 runs in the 19th over & won the match with 6 balls to spare. My question is still there, was any slogging required when Umar Akmal got himself out? The answer is simply NO because 16 runs were required from 19 balls Umar Akmal should have rotated the strike and waited for the lose ball to dispatch it outside the boundary with a proper cricketing stroke rather than closing his eyes and launching the ball towards the sky.
