I agree Butler does take the Michael but I was responding to your quote. Imagine if every bowler regularly stopped their runs up in case a run out chance is on offer. It would become a farce. The MCC need to look at the rules, perhaps a dead ball if the batsmen walks far out of his crease and a run(s) is scored.

People can say what they want about England and how they might struggle on bowling pitches, but they are by far the most entertaining ODI side at the moment. The confidence and the flamboyance of their batsmen is amazing. It will be very surprising if they don't break the 500 barrier in the near future.

Apart from Root who is a 100 SR player himself, literally every batsman in the lineup - Roy, Bairstow, Morgan, Buttler, Stokes and Moeen - is capable of smashing a 50 ball hundred on their day.

Being able to play 360 degrees vs pace and spin, being able to play back foot drives other extra cover for 6 is not a hack. Pakistan fans have no clue on batsmenship.

Batting unit needed one momentum match (2nd ODI) to get going.
Bowling unit also is just one momentum match away. It's just a matter of one complete performance from bowling unit to get rid of mental block and all pieces will start fitting in.

    Shaping up nicely.

For starting XI, Haris and Shadab should replace Imad and Asif. Shaheen replaces Junaid.

Abid Ali should be retained in squad. Asif will have to miss out. Because bigger concern is if we are penalised twice for slow over rate, we won't have a backup keeper if Abid Ali is to be sent back.

Pakistan dropping catches is not a coincidence. They are trying to grab the ball instead of waiting for it to come to them. It is a technical issue.

This is why Sarfraz use to yell on these nalaiks. They need a stick after every ball.

Seems reasonable that Pakistan team is getting a phanta at all departments, and just when no body rates them. They out perform.

Finally i see pakistani bowler bowling pakistani bowler of the past. Raw pace. They have to get rid of these 135k trundlers. They can contain. But if the batsman decides to target it is easy to target them.
