Australia beat Pakistan by 41 runs in 17th match of 2019 World Cup

So are we going to chase down 308 here?

Can't afford too many early wickets.

See off the new ball spell of Cummins and Starc.

And the scoring will get a lot easier.

We will have to bat very well.

Well this match has lost a meaning for me, a wash out would have been more useful for us.

Starc always dishes out some hit me deliveries amongst some threatening bowls. Cummins could be the real destroyer on this pitch.

Get the heavy roller on this and pray the sun comes out.

Need to preserve our wickets here. 70 after the first 20 overs losing one wicket will be a good start. As it's a small outfield the only way we can lose the match is being bowled out. Still over the moon having restricted them to 308 when at one stage it seemed we could be chasing over 400.

This was a 400-450 runs pitch/ground... Australia messed up big time here

If we get 250 and do not destroy our run rate for the tourney further, I am ok.
I can not expect Pakistan to chase down a total like this even though it is now reachable.

The fast bowling attack of the Aussies on a pitch like this with Pakistan pressured on batting. I just do not see it ending well.

250 is the most I see us getting.

After their performances in the last 2 games? Idk if they're a lock, atm I'd say India and England are.

Never know with our lineup. 40 odd after 10 and around 90 after 20.

Australia got 20 more runs. It was a 280 pitch. Opening partnership is the key. If our openers can put up 80 runs partnership then we are in big time.

One thing is for certain, Aus batting does not have the same fire power as India or England. They will fail in the semis if they meet either of those sides there.

It's not even 310. On this era, whatever the pitch is, easy target.

Too many runs on the board. As I have said previously, Pakistan is the worst chasing side.

The maximum we can chase is 180 and that too on a good day.

They did well to be honest, looked like it was going to be 350+ at one stage

    308 doesn't sound that bad
    but this is Pakistan

Top order need to really perform
    Just keep it ticking

lets see how it unfolds, need the win as it will be huge momentum going into the India game

Pakistan's new ball exploits will come back to haunt them. A little more discipline and this Aussie batting line-up wasn't making more thqn 250.
