Why is Ramiz talking as if world cup is over. Suddenly talk about first class structure and all those craps. They could have very well talked about it after WI loss. Pakistan keeps thinking this is the most important match of the world cup.

What a waste of time Pak middle-order proved to be! I was supposed to clean my flat, but then passed out drunk, missed India's innings and Pak innings just bored me to death. No more wasting time on this stupid sport. Back to my true love - ladies wrestling. Good bye, all.

well pak still has bowlers in recent past who did not get the opportunities they deserved. everyone knows the case of sadaf hussain, synonymous with fawad alam non-selection.

mir hamza, who got one test last year, is supposed to be as good as starc. he has very impressive stats, but barely gets an opportunity. but the future is not bleak for pakistan. husnain is definitely a prospect for future as well as mohmmd musa and naseem shah.

regarding the batting, kushdil shah is a power hitter with a good average, rizwan is not too shabby. It only depends on whether the selectors use common sense or not.

    Our tourney is over.
This match has absolutely smashed our NRR to smithreens and if by any miracle we win all 4 of the next games (NOT HAPPENING) we will still not qualify.

That would require Pakistan batsmen to score at 12.4 per over. The top order batsmen scored at 5.3 for 40 overs. You really think the lower order would make it a close game scoring near 12 an over?

How the hell did they cut 10 overs and only leave out 30 runs of India?

    DLS is really unfair.

In the hours preceding the much-anticipated World Cup match with India in Manchester today, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan advised cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed to bat first if he wins the toss. Being a former star cricketer who had led Pakistan to their only win in the tournament nearly three decades ago, he felt that the team would fare better if they were setting a target instead of chasing one.
Sarfaraz Ahmed, however, had different ideas. He won the toss alright, but opted to bowl.

    The rain messed everything up.

No way Sarfraz would have bowled first on a normal day. Not saying Pak would have beaten IND but Pak would have batted first for sure.

True, but it even worsens our NRR.

302 in 40 overs while the opposition scored 336 in 50 is not realistic.

I thought they had reformed the DLS method!

It is realastic when you consider from position india was and had they knew match was 40 overs they had started accelarstion from 35th over ,so its really about how you see it.

Btw that 302 score is coz pak lost wickets, while india didnt ,had pak been 1/2 down score would have been unfer 240 or even 200 so its ur own fault

    No shame admitting that.
