[VIDEO] "All Pakistan need to do now is to continue believing in themselves " : Viv Richards

Message via Quetta Gladiators from Sir Vivian Richards for the Pakistan World Cup squad:

"My beloved West Indies team, looks like they aren't going to make it in this particular World Cup"

"Especially with the start they had, I felt that it was very good and gave people a lot of hope"

"My adopted team, Pakistan, are very much in it"

"As everyone knows that they are a very talented team, and it was pretty exciting to see them perform in the game against New Zealand recently"

"It was a spirited performance and captain Sarfaraz Ahmed must be given praise for his aggressive captaincy"

"Well done to Babar Azam for a magnificent 100, well played and to just the whole Pakistan set-up in itself"

"To the Pakistan coaching staff and players themselves, I wish them the best of luck in the remaining matches. All Pakistan need to do now is to continue believing in themselves and that belief comes as you continue to win, Inshallah. Good Luck to Pakistan" #CWC19

Him along with Nasir Hussain & Mike Atherton ought to be some of the biggest supporters (non-pakistani) of Pakistan Team. Love their commentary more so when talking about Pak team ..

There are hardly any cricketers who may not have any haters(1 or 2 don't count ), Viv is definitely on top of the list. Don't think he is hated by anyone in the cricketing world.
Definitely the most respected person in cricketing history.

We would so much better as a team if Sir Viv is our head coach of Pakistan Cricket Team.

Aww just saw this! Thank you Sir Vivian Richards! If there was one cricketer who's career I could have followed, I would have loved to follow this man's career. As a cricket fan I believe my experience would have been so much richer if I had seen cricket being played in the 80s!

Let's see how it all unfolds... NZ play England tonight.

Have the players going forward, just need coaching&professionalism! #1 priority: fielding
