England are going to win this match easily. There is nothing for the bowlers plus Ferguson is not playing.NZ will still go through due to superior run rate.Pakistan messed up when it played WI.Overall Pakistan has not done too bad. This Pakistan team has many weaknesses.PCB had four years to prepare for WC and it could not think beyon Hafeez and Malik.

If England post a mammoth total and Guptill and Munro fall cheaply, New Zealand will start tuk tuking to play out 50 overs and protect his NRR.

Williamson is a smart operator unlike Sarfraz, who should have instructed Babar and Haris to not take the game till the last over against New Zealand.

Pakistan should have finished the chase off in the 46th or 47th over, and we should have also chased the Afghanistan total inside 35-40 overs, but we started to sweat bullets as soon as the ball turned.

Plus of course, our NRR is in tatters because of losing to West Indies in 13.4 overs.

Sorry to say, but we are getting exactly what we deserve.

Roy is such a beast when the ball doesn't move a millimetre and bounce is true.

350+ target and NZ will play safe to get to 250/ 75 that way even ENG might not try to win by a huge margin as long as they can see NZ have given up.

He's wrong. The easiest way to think of this is both England and Pakistan need to win by around 230 runs each.

So, if England win today by 230, and Pakistan win by just 200, NZ will still be ahead on the NRR.

Defeat Bangladesh by like, 350 runs. Because the difference between the NRR of New Zealand and pakistan is massive, so if England win today, you're as good as out.

That's true, still had your game in 92 not been rained out we probably would have made a Final and possibly won the WC.

If England is smart, they will play sensibly from here on and make sure they get 300+. NZ is not chasing anything down tonight.

The problem he have is that chasing teams are just not winning with 300+ totals however, if guptill goes guptill today ...... NZ will give themselves a big chance. also eng is trying to settle the 2015 wc score and using home advantage to the fullest. I believe it is the knowledge of the pitch that won them against india.

If we want even a slight chance in NRR, we need England to post 450+, and NZ fold under 150.

India didn't lose the match against ENG on purpose. Dhoni has lost his touch. Latest news on Indian TV is that Dhoni has been told to retire after this world cup.

funny how england games have gone, the flat pitches have come against afghanistan (spin), bangladesh (spin), india (spin), and this might be the flattest road yet, not even their batting line up will fail here.

There's a crucial difference there. It happened in 1992, what the dude I quoted said didn't happen.

This is the worst situation ever for a team when you are depending on other teams' results. Not being in the control of your destiny is the worst position to be in.

Why just 315 ? They will even chase 350 to get Sarfi boys in the Semis.

Going into a SF with 3 straight losses...

Team will have no form or confidence and will be easy beats, better off if Pakistan overtakes us on NRR.

Kane has done his reputation is a captain no favors this tournament.

New Zealand, meant to be the best fielding side can't get their hands on the ball today. I hope they lose by 200+ margin, they don't deserve to be in semis.
