Is that 75,000PKR per match for each player? Or split between the playing XI?

That's a great amount of money per year if it's per player.

    Hard to say.
Because 1 problem is that in off season they dont will have to use that money they have saved from playing first class.

Plus, one drawback is that with that amount they cant buy themselves good diet.

But i hope the money that is to be earned, is earned by the good cricketers

It not about me being statisfied, it is the players being statisfied is important

Lets hope for the best and at the end of the season we will get a clear picture. @Saj can interview prominent domestic perfomers after the season to understand their thinking of the new structure,

I heard Wasim Khan mentioning that all domestic players will go through training, and receive coaching certification, which they can then use to earn money off-season by doing coaching for city association, U16, U13, and school teams?

Also, I assume that their food, accommodation, and transport during the season would be covered separately, and not be deducted from their pay?

The numbers in the table are per match, so 75000 pkr per first class match for all players in the playing XI, and then they receive 600,000 pkr per year, which is 50,000 pkr per month.

This season players not playing a match will receive almost as much as players in the playing XI were last year.

We can't compete with India with this wage structure. Their Cricket players for the most part are living the NBA lifestyle now

The international 15-20 players yes. Not domestic players but overall point is valid.

Wasim Jaffer in an article complained that the BCCI first class match fee of Rs 125,000 per domestic game was not enough given how expensive it was for a cricketer to buy bat's, spikes, other equipment, to focus on his cricket skills, diet, fitness, home and family expenses. This was in 2013

Top first class performers need to earn 55 to 60 lacs at least . 2nd XI need to earn 30 to 35 lacs

    Hopefully PCB can attract sponsors

Well thats another point, Speaking from personal knowledge most first class players in Pakistan have sponsored cricket pads, gloves etc from minor sports brands in Pakistan. And they dont play with particularly expensive cricket bats. Most local first class players who have not played international cricket yet either borrow bats through friendship from international player or play with local kashmir willow bat.

True, imagine how the Pakistani domestic cricketers must’ve felt in the past with a much lower wage.

The point is that you want cricket to be attractive for youngsters at grass root level.

PCB needs to find a way for cricketer at city level to earn some money to take care themselves. If sponsorships doesn't come in and no money at city level. The system will be a gigantic failure in long term

Yes most of them play with kashmir willow but the bats are not as bad as people make out to be. They are better than some bats available to non first class cricketers in say England.
