Bangladesh have won.I would have been upset if India won.I know Bangldesh governmet doesn't have good relations with Pakistan but Bangladeshi people are our Muslim brothers. It is not very often that Bangladesh win in any sports.

Just noticed 33 extras in a total of 170 !! That is abysmal. But they are under-19 these things happen if you are not used to being disciplined. BD bowlers were very accurate.

Why does star sports have to be our moral guardian. Are they broadcasting a match or some reality show where they decide what we can see.

I know Bangladeshi players were not great behavior-wise but they needed this fire to defeat a heavyweight like India. Everything went according to plan. It was played in good spirit but with high intensity.

I think BD team and India team should have a party together after this epic game (to cool things down).

After 5 years this rivalry will continue at senior level. lol. BD players were constantly throwing verbals at Indian openers. Unlike Kohli who loves these kind of contests, this priyam garg is a terrified cat who looked liek a nervous wreck while batting.

Was always going to be a win win situation for Pakistani fans. If the Bangalis had lost, we wouldn't have been upset about it at all but the fact that the strongest team of the entire tournament ie India coached by the legendary Rahul David choked when it really mattered is 😂😂 as well.

Congratulations to our Bangali brethren, savor the moment, proud and historic achievement

And the attitude too of jaiswal seems so balanced. I haven't seen him utter expletives as the bishnoi fellow or few others on the field. If nurtured properly, he will become a great asset to his IPL team and then Indian team too.

If a bowler like Unadkat gets 14 crores, 1 crore is worth the kid's talent. But that leg spinner will trouble a lot of international batsmen

No country has ever had the resources, power, population and money available to India today. The fact they can't produce anything from all of that is very telling.

When the playing field was equal they were nothing team carried by Sachin. Now it is heavily unequal in their favour and they still have nothing to show for it except another lost final and 2-0 down in NZ. When is India going to perform?

They are no.1 ranked test side. no.2 ranked ODI side. Reached 3 under-19 finals in a row. Won 2. Their only problem these days is winning the final or semi. In a one-off scenario they lose it. HOpefully they turn it around. You sound like we are losing everythign left right center.

    Never called it a fluke.

Its just that for a generation that has grown up seeing their heroes pounding Bangladesh to oblivion, it must be really traumatic to lose against them in the all important final of their own lives. Imagine the magnitude. And opposite goes for the Bangla players; these youngsters will grow with a never seen confidence in the Bangladeshi ranks.

Looks like at under-19 level BD is team like Senior Australian side. They are probably a side to beat. They have won 10 matches in a row. They have competed well everywhere. You are equating BD senior and BD under-19. The difference between BD senior and BD under-19 is less. But difference between say Australian-19 and Australian senior is very high.

    Well played Bangladesh, congratulations.

Good bowling to start the game, and solid batting at the end.

It wasn't because Bangladesh is a top U19 team along with India.

Pakistan CT 2017 win was a fluke because borderline minnows winning a trophy is rare.

Congrats Bangladeshi PPers. Great fight and the team with better nerves prevailed in the end. Hope this historic victory translates to bigger things for Bangladesh cricket. Teams like NZ and SL have never won this event, so this is an amazing achievement by the tiger cubs.

Worried about India's talent pool especially in middle order batting.

1983 WC is the biggest ever fluke in the history of cricket, where minnows upset the world champions.

SL and NZ have been extremely unlucky in past few years. They are always drawn into tough groups with at least 3 Test playing nations in their group.

India beat WI twice in that tourney and then went on to win B&H World series two years later

I have never seen such an overreaction from a team winning just a U19 WC. People need to calm down especially when the senior team is doing crap.

Lmao.. why would I cry? India lost the world cup final to a better team, we are still the best Cricket team in the world all formats.

Now compare this to being a minnow fan, taking pleasure in India's loss because their own team can compete only against the likes of Zimbabwe and Bermuda.

What's more just before the 1983 WC we had an ODI series in WI where we beat them in one of the matches scoring 282 runs in just 47 overs which was unheard of in that era, Kapil played an epic knock of 72 at almost 200 SR. WI was almost invincible, more so in ODI those days.

    https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/...indies-1982-83

They won the decider to take the series 2-1. A few days later in the WC we beat them twice. So in a span of 2-3 months we beat them thrice in ODIs, at a time when they were bulldozing rest of the competition. They clearly had some difficulty against us in that period which changed by the end of the year.

Then as you mentioned we won the B&H 1985 cementing our status as a top ODI team. 80s wasn't a successful era for us but for those 3-4 years in between we were a top ODI side.

Congratulations to Bangladesh U19 team! You made your country proud! Certainly the best team in the tournament.

Indian U19 is also an equivally good team. Losing the toss and batting first made a big difference. But the team fought well with a low score to defend.

Good luck to all the players from both teams!
