I say we go for:

- 1 away game to the Assassins or the Tigers if we wanna try a spinner's wicket - preferably FC or OD

1 FC at the Adda on a flat wicket - any team that agrees to play with us

- 1 OD at the Adda on a flat wicket - any team that agrees to play with us

We've already played a bit of trial games on normal/spicy; really keen on seeing how flat does/doesn't play to our advantage here.

As far as opening with diamonds is concerned - not too keen on trying that tbh because I realistically never see us using that strategy come the actual games (too much of a risk). IMO we should still try to keep our line-ups similar to what we would actually play - so if that entails opening the batting with a bowler or A/R on a spicy pitch for example, then so be it.

Regarding the games, yup - that sounds good. Would love if the Cannons can come over and play the FC on a flat Adda track @last_knight

OD at the Adda on a flat track against Tigers is also a lock, as confirmed by TB above.

For the 3rd game - I want that game to happen as well and I'm down to try 3 spinners there. But does that count as one of our 3 games? Or are the Tigers inviting us?

Honestly I want to test in all of these games how opening the batting with proper batsmen work.

We already know how it works opening with a tail-ender and a A/R.

But I personally think it’s better regardless of pitch to open with proper batsmen and that’s what I would like to test in all of these games.

Ok np then - we can make that swap. I see the logic and it's something I can see us doing in the real games. Still don't think we should open with diamond bats though, as that's never happening.

So open with C_C and move Hadlee to 8, with iPakistani at 9.

Yes IPakistani got hit around pretty badly. Hadlee got better towards the second half of the game.

Their normal batsman performed better, but i guess our bowling was weaker.

In future games we need to separate our Diamond bats as they all followed each other in the order.
