It's true their NRR's are superior and it's very tough for them to not make it, but Cannons at least could've tried cementing their qualification by not going for a lottery pitch this round, instead of leaving a remote possibility of getting knocked out (although highly unlikely).

There is not even a remote possibility of cannons getting knocked out. They probably thought we would use our boosts while they wanted to keep their boosts against tigers for top 2 finish. Hence the devilish pitch where skills become irrelevant

And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with Cerebral Assassins claiming an impressive victory by 5 wickets. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Cerebral Assassins and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. Probably a fair pitch in the greater scheme of things. There was something in it for the bowlers especially in terms of swing, seam and spin. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Cerebral Assassins proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.
