    You too.
Playing cerebral games with Cerebral Assassins.

Cannons believe in approach of Ricky Ponting to always bat first in Knockouts

Let's see who among Boyz, Hawks and Assassins takes the risk to Bowl first?

Beast bowling lineup by Cannons but I have full faith in our batting lineup which can chase down big totals.

Once again KP & DM/Immy will make or break the chase so here's hoping they come good again.

    Let's do this

You bat first on a normal in T20, meaning you will win bro. If Toca has to play a blinder at 7 for that to happen, he will

Although my support if with @Hadi Rizvi here

Cannons winning 2 titles will be quite humbling

Chasing is our strength. As simple as that. Cannons' batting is their weaker suit. If one of their super bats fails it'd be a massive advantage for us.

Now that lineups are announced and games gave begun, I will give my interpretation about the pitch. Typically, pitches are high for either seam/swing or for spin. According to these, bowling lineups play as many fast bowlers or spinners respectively to take advantage.

On this pitch, it is Good but not High for the same bowlers. So in my opinion should be a bit easier to bat at Batworld stadium than a typical pitch.

For this specific match, it means Loose Cannons are just about par. Excluding the run out, only 2 wickets have fallen in the first 8 overs. This is quite good for a T20 especially with a chunk of the good bats yet to come. Run rate is at 8 which is also at par. I think a score of 170 on this pitch will be the score after which you can feel a little confident. 150 will be chased. Anything between 150-170 is anyoneís game.

Yeah collapses usually occur in the middle/death overs. This is why we went with a boosted spinner instead of a pacer as his 1st spell would have been wasted.

Decent phase for Cannons. Now tail can get them to 160 which would be an above par score. Advantage LC

I'm just wary of the super bowler. Hope he's just economical and not devastating. We have batting till #7 (or #8 if you count diamond bowler)

Chasing is an advantage on normal pitch. Gives approx 5-10 runs. And deterioration isnít a huge deal in T20.

Add to the 10 run differential you have given for deterioration which I agree with, and you get approx 5-10 runs lost by choosing to bowl first. These are the at least 5 runs I mentioned earlier.

Itís not a huge difference. They just need to contain in the last 4 overs. Current trajectory is on course for 165 though which is enough for LC to feel a little safe and PB regretting that it could have been 155-160.

This is not a MU stadium or cage's normal which is more batting friendly. Bounce, swing, seam, spin all set to above average makes it equivalent to a spicy pitch on most teams' home grounds. Batting 1st is always preferable on a bowling friendly pitch like this.

Just like we had high bounce, swing and seam settings so 150-160 was par score at Lair which was around 250+ at cage and MU stadium and 220+ at Adda, spicy mansion.

Superb effort considering we had only 4 specialist bowlers.

    Target could've been a comfortable 155 but it is a nervy 159.
