Is Ehsan Mani the right person to be the Chairman of PCB?

    The title says it all!!!!!

This guy is a soft gentle person who is too scared to take/oppose any tough decision when appointing or approving people for top position like Managing director, Head Coach or captain.

For the past few days the rumor about issues like Azhar Ali's fate as captain (sack or retain), Misbah duel role or single role (head coach cum selector or just head coach) and so on in the media.

Does he have any say in decisions or just approve/agree whatever MD or IK says?

Ehsan Mani has experience of leading organizations but at the end of the day he is confronted with fixing an organization which has been in decay for years.

Lol just because he comes across as soft spoken, polite, less sensational, you concluded that he doesn't seem capable of taking tough decisions. He has taken plenty of tough decisions during his tenure and he has resisted the pressure from the departmental cricket lobby

Also people need to realize that this team is trying to get the PCB in a position where not every decision is taken by chairman or CEO. They want departments to get to the point where day to day decisions are made by dept heads and larger decisions get moved up to CEO and largest to Chairman/BoG as other organizations do. They’re trying to bring a corporate culture into PCB.

His best decision so far has been to not give any interviews to Pak based media. It's his version of 'I don't mind & they don't matter'

Mani is the reason Cricket is a money minting machine today, people should have a look at financial reforms he brought in ICC including the idea of giving away media rights over a period of time rather than on series or tournament basis. This PTV deal is also Mani's idea as acknowledged by Wasim Khan himself.

Seems he's dividing opinions amongst fans, current players and former players.

Lots of mixed messages coming from the Mani camp too.
