I'm sure now the wicket will turn into a Basin reserve green mamba when Starc and Hazelwood start off.

Scoreboard pressure will come into play, that's it nothing else.
-

Nice touch with Smith's photo in the first post! India will lose this surely. If they get even 350 against Starc, Hazlewood and Cummins - well done to them.

All that IPL glitz and stardom and all those blazing innings for two whole months.....that was absolutely nothing.
This....this innings right here. Against Starc Cummins Hazelwood under lights at the SCG chasing 375 for your country. This is where you make your name.
Hope Mayank, KL, Iyer and Pandya have this in their minds..

I think this is the first match after COVID situation has emerged, crowd has been allowed inside the stadium.
Till now all the matches(tests, LOIs, Franchise) has been played with empty stands everywhere.
How is the COVID situation in Australia?

Have to say, high quality of Indian batting always makes up for the awful bowling attack. Hats off to India for consistently producing such wonderful batsmen. Agarwal would already have reached legend opening bat status in Pakistan lol

-

Horrendous captaincy. Not very aggressive and giving Starc the new ball. Letting the batsmen settle. I’m actually backing India, to be honest.
-
27th November 2020, 14:18 #30
good stuff by indian openers ,making a mockery of australian attack.
now imagine what would imam and fakhar be doing.
It is either a heartache or a headache ..Argh relationships.

This is such an un Indian kinda batting and I am so not able to relate with this team. Normally our approach is dont lose wickets at the top, play calculative cricket and take it till the death. Now struggling to understand the shot played by Mayank and now Kohli. Everyone is looking in a rush and that calming influence is gone.
Why?

There is absolutely no way to be calm in a 375 chase. You either fire from the beginning or may as well concede the match.
-
27th November 2020, 14:39 #60
Kohli struggles too much to accelerate early on. Should play like Babar Azam.
-
27th November 2020, 14:40 #61

Actually it's Rohit Sharma not kholi... Who is key player while chasing or getting big total...
Without Rohit indian team just crossed 300 by luck as they already one batsmen short..
-
27th November 2020, 14:45 #76
Indian batting is overrated. Can't play the short ball.. all 3 wickets gone to short balls...

The batting is over after this. Pandya isn’t much better than Anwar Ali with the bat, and after Jadeja you’ve got 4 number 11’s who can rival Pakistan’s tailenders

Reckless batting but they have no choice, pretty much need to bat at around 8 throughout the match. The bowlers likely lost India the game.
