After conquering the A in SENA; Can this India team win in SA, England and NZ?

    Next stop: England.

New Zealand tour might be a while away since India was whitewashed there only last year.

South Africa last time was close defeat and India certainly competed. That tour might be closer.

They can win in England if they win the tosses and B. Kumar is fit.

His absence and Kohliís bad luck with the toss was the major reason why India lost 4-1 in 2018.

As far as NZ is concerned, India will beat them in the WTC Final.

It is better than winning in NZ.

We can beat SA in SA because just like Aus they are at their lowest currently. NZ and Eng in their own den are pretty hard to beat. This Eng tour will expose many recently made superstars.

toss excuses as usual. Am sure if india lose in UK again it will be because of the toss.

Lets ignore the batting collapses. Lets ignore the india had england on ropes and couldnt run through englands lower order.

India only lose games of cricket because of toss.

Would be a shame if we donít win in SA. 80% chance of win.

England is a very solid side in home conditions and would be difficult to beat even with Bhuvi and Bumrah in the ranks. 40%-50% chance of India winning. But that goes down to 15% if Kohli loses all the tosses to Roooot lol

NZ - One of the strongest sides at home conditions ever. I donít even know if India is playing them anytime soon. Any way, will be very tough to beat them. 20% chance.

As per my crystal ball prediction, we will unfortunately miss out on winning vs SA in SA later this year.

The crystal ball says that just like everything balances out in life at some point or the other, Quinton de kock's form will also hit its all-time career peak later around the end of this year and he will win them plenty of matches from there onwards over the next two years. But till then the dry run will continue for him.

Unfortunately, it will hit the peak at right time and save them from their very first home defeat vs India.

    SA ? probably.

    Eng? A lot harder.

Any good team is very hard to beat in their den. Aus series win took some great performances by many players. Expecting it to repeat regularly is expecting too much.

Other than Smith and Warner this Aus side is awful and full of TTFs. Wade, Head, Paine, Burns, Starc are all mediocre.

This Aus needs a rebuilding and is worse than even
    2011 Aus.

Agree. Labu, Cummins, Hazlewood, Lyon. Such mediocrity. Even the Smith India faced was not the peak-form Smith. The Warner who made 340* in a day and half against Pakistan is also very different from the tiktok distracted Warner that India faced.

Not taking anything away from India. That was an amazing win for them. You can keep your stupid strawman away. I was just talking from an Australian point of view that it was embarassing to lose to India F. On india's perspective they did well.

England seems quite unlikely, because facing Anderson when the ball is moving, and facing Broad when the ball is seaming, will be two huge challenges for the Indian top order.

Rohit does not play the moving ball well, and Gill is still young and will be asked to play in difficult conditions.

Pujara, Kohli, and Pant will be the key batsmen for India in the series. If these guys can bat for long and score the runs needed, it would help India greatly.

If Jadeja is fit, his inclusion will be important too, though Ashwin is a handy bat and a better bowler in my opinion.

A lot of people are talking about a fit Bhuvneshwar, but I doubt he'll be fully fit by the time the England tour starts. He hasn't played for India in test matches for a while now, so his inclusion seems unlikely unless one of Shami, Ishant, Bumrah, or Umesh is out of form. Siraj is likely to continue for India in test matches.

South Africa is doable for India, given that their test team is quite weak at the moment. India could quite easily bat South Africa out of the game if they win the toss, so a series win in SAF is quite likely.

Given their recent performances in New Zealand, I doubt that they will win a series there, especially given how green the wickets in New Zealand are nowadays.

I'm sure they learned their lessons from Eng tour last time around. They had Eng on the ropes a bunch of times only for Sammy to bail his team out. BK, Bumrah, Ishanth and Ashwin/Jadeja. That's the best possible bowling lineup for conquering England. Will be one heck of a series. England's batting was weak the last time around and isn't great now either. India has to sort out the Rahane issue.

They just got embarrassed because India didn't bowl many juicy half volleys or short outside the off stump aka the Agarkar specials. This Indian team plans well and if they execute their plans, they can win from any situation.

    Difficult Yes, Impossible No.
Were'nt the same questions asked before the Aus tour? and in 2018?
Having said that the 2020-21 victory was such a close one, it was not an absolute blankout of Aus.
Same was the case with Eng tour in 2018 -where India had their moments as well as in SAF 2018.
We've won in NZ in 2009, cant see any reason why we cant-once again the difficult and impossible arguments.
However, our batting is pathetic against swing, but our bowling makes it up for this deficiency.
On the field we blow hot and cold.
If we get some momentum or consistency going, no reason why we cant beat SENZ when we tour.
Just because it has not happened does not mean its not gonna happen.
I'd trust our system, our talent scouting and our way of polishing raw talents to make it big, we'll soon be having express quicks bowling upwards of 150 kmph .
Look at the way we are producing atheletes in track and field and other sports, look at the big spash we made in the commonwealth games of 2018, Gold Coast Aus.
All in all, a good chance as any to win in SENZ....

What makes it super difficult is our batsmen don't handle quality swing well. We've started handling bounce well -ie SAF and Aus but swing is becoming our bug bear....ie conventional swing and not reverse.
I think there are 5 Eng tests to follow the WTC finals against NZ.
Frankly, I think this will be the biggest test for our batting lineup.
Normally, I always see the IPL as a big burnout phase just before any important test series, but this time I feel the IPL will be good to get injured guys like Mo Shami, Jads back on the horse.
The drawback also being it might burn out guys like Ashwin, vk, pant, hitman, HP ....
seems a bit strange to treat IPL as auditioning for the tests, but if not for IPL we wouldn't be talking guys like Washi, Thakur, SKY, Pant, etc
The Biggest lookout for me and takeaway from IPL IMHO would be if we can get a LH opener, preferably someone young like Devdutt Padikkal who is also a good fielder - just to keep hitman honest and on his toes....+ the LH-Rh factor combined with Gill...would augur well for the future.
Am sure Eng would be hurting and wanting to defeat us on their backyard...I think there was some interview from Stuart Broad recently to that effect...Hopefully it will get translated into an English version of 'cant wait to see u at the Gabba, mate' with the same results....
    Bring on the summer !

India have the ability to take 20 wickets in England but their batting fails at crucial times. Maybe after Jimmy retires and Broad gets older. Difficulty for India: 8/10

NZ will be toughest team to beat with their current bowling attack at homes. So I'd be very surprised if any SC team, India including, manages to win series there. Difficulty for India 9/10.

SA are already building, their trio of bowlers are very dangerous, so if India bat well their bowlers can win them here. Difficulty for India 7/10.

We won't be playing in NZ for a while now and I'm not sure if the likes of Ishant, Shami, Umesh, Ashwin, Pujara, Rohit, Rahane etc would be around when we next play there..

If we beat them in Southampton, I'll consider them conquered. Will be a sweet revenge for the 0-2 last year

We should be winning comfortably in South Africa even if we bring our A game and not A+....

England would be extremely tricky and dependent on other factors like toss and the degree of seam/swing friendliness in the late English summer. I'd be happy if we get a 2-2....

No way. This team has peaked and the middle order is quite fragile and in need of a overhaul barring Virat. But of course the selectors cant drop a winning combination so wait till we get exposed in Eng till that happens. Also to note that these guys are around 33 and the fall in performances start now. Bowling is brilliant though.

If he bowls with a full sleeve and is an off-spinner, rest assured he chucks. Amen

Interesting to note that no sena team has won a test series in Bangladesh the past 10 years.

West indies won a series recently

Take Jamieson out, it is a manageable bowling attack
Sorry bhai but that's dead wrong, Wagner, Southee and Boult along with Jamieson is a treacherous pair to face, imagine these guys bowling now with the kookaburra and just imagine what they can do with the Dukes ball in English conditions. I think you are undermining the NZ attack bhai.

Australia were at lowest in the sense that they were scared of a Tullyabaaz and that is why whenever he used to come to bat, they would keep praising him the entire series

@mods, plz look if we can have the emoji for this Tullyabaaz batsman
