Can topple PTI government in a week if Asif Ali Zardari allows, claims Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari
KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Monday that his party can topple the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government within a week time if former president Asif Ali Zardari gives it a go-ahead.
Speaking to the press after expressing his condolence to the family of Late Syed Ali Raza Abidi, Bilawal said that it appears along with governance the PTI doesn’t even know simple math.
“I have got 99 seats in Sindh. They need 49 members to topple the Sindh government,” he remarked.
The PPP leader called the recently submitted Joint Investigative Report, ‘a pack of lies and fabrication’.
“The nexus between government and the JIT has been exposed now. We will challenge the JIT report before the court of law,” he said. “We will foil every conspiracy.”
The PPP leader said that those who want the mass issues to not be resolved desires to see Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah replaced.
“The people of Sindh won’t let the chief minster changed,” he said.
Meanwhile, PTI’s provincial lawmaker Khurrum Sher Zaman submitted an adjournment motion in the Sindh assembly, calling for a discussion on the findings of a Joint Investigation Team report in the money laundering and fake accounts case in the next session.
The adjournment motion presented in the assembly stated that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has misused his power by offering his assistance in serious criminal activities. The chief minister intentionally provided unlawful benefits to the Omni Group at the expense of the people of Sindh, the motion added.
“Our prime demand is to replace Murad Ali Shah," he said.
The PTI leader alleged that the Sindh chief minister even gave temples' estate to his aides as a gift.
"The province was given to the chief minister as a responsibility, he turned out to be a facilitator for the Omni Group,” he said.
Zaman said that he would want to see the next chief minister from the original PPP rather than from Zardari’s one, adding that the JIT report on Uzair Baloch and Nasir Morai should be public in the coming days.

Is the CJ trying to get the PPP of the hook? Whats up with his statement that the govt had no right to put the accussed on ECL and that the JIT report is not necessarily factual? Has the PPP paid him off?
This is the biggest money laundering and plundering operation in history, need to put these crooks behind bars by hook or crook.

Zardari seeks media support to overthrow PTI-led govt
ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday urged the media to support the opposition’s attempts to overthrow the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
Addressing an all-parties conference on the Kashmir issue, the Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman pledged to address the various issues being faced by Pakistan’s country’s news industry if the media supports the opposition’s movement to remove the PTI-led government.
Speaking on the Kashmir issue, Zardari said Pakistan’s political parties have always set aside their differences to come together for the Kashmiri cause. “Kashmir is in our DNA. It is an integral part of the Pakistani identity and we will never let Kashmir be separated from us,” pledged
The former president said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi must realise that Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue is not limited to any government’s policy. “The Pakistani nation is one when it comes to the Kashmir cause and it will never abandon the people of Kashmir.”
Zardari stated Pakistan’s efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue were dealt serious blows during times of military dictatorships, but said that Pakistan’s younger generations would pursue the matter till a fair resolution was achieved.
Calling for international intervention against New Delhi, he said Islamabad will continue to use all global forums to highlight India’s brutalities in Occupied Kashmir.

LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Tuesday demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to tender an apology for his statement against 18th Amendment and the Constitution of Pakistan.
Addressing the press here, the PPP chairman maintained that the prime minister insulted the constitution and the people in Ghotki.
"Peoples Party is not going to be scared of the puppet government," he said.
To a question about Owais Muzaffar Tappi, Bilawal said he did not have any contact with Tappi for the past one year, adding that the reports regarding his arrest were "false" and they were run to divert attention from recent hike in petroleum prices.
"They will keep creating spectacles, screams of masses are being heard ever since this government took over the country," he said. "The masses have submerged in the tsunami of inflation."
The PPP chairman termed hearings in Rawalpindi of the cases against his party's leadership against the requisites of the law and justice.
He said he had an objection to trials in Rawalpindi and he would raise this objection at every forum.

My biggest problem with PPP and PML (N and Q) is that they are family properties and not independent political parties. How can people support a party where chairman is not selected on merit? Neptoism will eventually destroy these parties completely.

Please don't say that you may have to eat a humble pie in the future. There have been many things that IK kept on saying and then had to take a U-turn. One quick example is IK's pray to God if not being a successful politician like Sheikh Rasheed but ultimately choose the same path to be successful in the field of politics.
Currently, it seems unlikely that son or relative will take over the party but stranger things keep on happening in IK's life so you never know.

Sindh has the lowest sales tax rate yet there has been increased in Salex tax collection. People don't find it worthy of news because this does show some sort of achievement of Sindh government.

Can't give this government any more time, says Zardari
PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday called upon the party's supporters to "march to Islamabad" and oust the government.
"Before the elections, I told you that they want to repeal the 18th Amendment," Zardari said. "That's why they are lodging cases against us. At the time, some friends believed me and some people made fun.
"Now you have seen that the selected prime minister's [bubble] has burst. He said he does not have funds. If you can't collect funds through the FBR than leave.
"He (the prime minister) has sent Pakistan 50 years back. They don't care about the poor. We can't give them more time, we have to do this for the sake of the country."
The PPP leader made those remarks at a gathering in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on the occasion of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's 40th death anniversary.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that PPP is the "only party" that can "serve the entire Pakistan".
Late last month, Bilawal, along with a group of PPP leaders and workers, had launched a train 'march' from Karachi to Larkana in connection with Z.A Bhutto's death anniversary.
More to follow.

It is important for Imran and PTI to get a taste of their own medicine, i.e. dharna politics. Unfortunately, this opposition will not gain much steam because it doesn't have the backing of the establishment unlike PTI's long march. Nevertheless, strong opposition is always good.
PTI is crap at running the country and is breaking all records of incompetence, but they are a very good opposition party. PMLN is very weak on this front but PPP is pretty good, always have been. Moreover, Imran is no match for Zardari and never will be - if anyone can put PTI in its place, it's PPP.
It is imperative that they raise their voices against the gross ineptitude of this government as well as the political which-hunting of NAB. The mass brain-washing that has taken place over the last decade will bring us our doom if we don't act now.
As long as Imran is on the strings of the establishment, he will stay in power. However, strong opposition can force him and his party to correct their ways and reverse their blunders. With Zardari applying pressure and Ramzaan round the corner, we can expect some drop in prices in "Mehenga Pakistan".

Bhai jaan who are you trying to fool. I've lived in Karachi for 2/3 of my life. Even more. Come to Karachi sometime and give hazari at your leaders Bilawal House. It is at one of the most expensive places in Karachi, a stone's throw away from the Sea View. Bilo Rani declared the house to be worth a few lakhs, while our normal middle class house in DHA is 1/10 of its size but worth hundred times more. Mashallah, we must be richer than Billo.
Why is it that Billo has cordoned off the huge four lane road infront of his house and residents have to use single lane service road to transverse from that area?
I find it astonishing that people who have hardly spent any time under PPP rule are trying to sell its benefits to people who have been suffering under it for 11 years and counting.

It is not about balls, it is about having the backing of the institution that runs the country. If Imran would not have had their backing, his opposition would not have resulted in anything. However, if he loses their backing now, he will not stay in power beyond this year.
PPP and PMLN cannot topple PTI's government as long as PTI is in bed with the establishment. Nevertheless, you need strong opposition anyway to keep you on your toes.
PTI's chaotic leadership and ludicrous decision-making will run this country into the ground if they are remain unchecked. We must appreciate PPP's efforts and PMLN must learn from them.

It's all about balls, and the Nooras, PPP or you don't have any. If they go on the streets and take the 1st bullet for their " democracy" then the followers will follow. Who is going to take a bullet when the guy you are are taking bullets for have either their children abroad, or have stolen billions from you. Come on guys show some balls, take the bullet for your beliefs.
As far as the PTI is concerned, you don't have either the intellect or the understanding what the PTI is dealing with. All you do is to repeat a few lines and then when challenged you run. The crisis was created by your friends and it will take years to solve. This is quote straight after the PTI took over, " Pakistan is suffering from a number of imbalances -- they also have a low level of reserves and a currency that is too rigid and overvalued,” IMF Chief Economist Maurice Obstfeld said in Bali before the fund’s annual meetings. Now please explain why he said that. But you will run as you do, and then utter some craap a few days later without understanding a word.

Reread my post again.
The problem is with the law, not with what bilalwal did.
Bilalwals property might be worth in trillions, but the law states that the vale should be at the price it was bought at that time.
Its the laws fault not his. He followed the law when filing the papers. Media created rukus without even reading the law.
The first and only PM of Pakistan to lose the peoples confidence = Imran Khan
