More 'Selection' woes: What to have for breakfast?

Actually after gaining about 1 stone/8 Kg in the Jeet lo Dil series 2 years ago, I am going easy on the junk food/pizzas/last nights roti etc and just having sensible food like cereal/bread/juice to get me through the night/day.

Fresh fruit's the answer, mate.

Keep a few slices of fresh watermelon in the fridge, or chew on something like sugarcane. Enough carbs there to keep you running, and shouldn't have an adverse effect on the waistline.

Mea culpa. Singapore's spoiled me as far as good/fresh food selection is concerned.

Still, see if the watermelon at least can be found by some means - any means. Alternatively, grapes.
